I'm building a new PC this year. It's a great time to be a PC gamer.

It is a good time to be a PC gamer.

As for the list, command and conquer generals 2 doesn't exist... it's command and conquer and it's going to be free (don't know if it's a good or a bad sign). Games that are missing from the list: Watch Dogs, Star Wars 1313, Tomb Raider, SimCity... among others.

I have the entire PC collection list buddy for PC 2013. WIP list I keep up with and try to adapt as I go. Always changing ya know. PC 2013 looks awesome so far. I know personally I am missing some titles as well. Been sorting through games of 2013 lists to assemble. Lots to go.

List could be better. I mean where is Rome total war 2, elder scrolls online and heart of the swarm?

Psychotica4118d ago

I was wondering the same thing

chillopedia4118d ago

Total War 2 and Elder Scrolls would be at no 13 and 14. Heart of Swarm however is an expansion pack and that's why I didnt put it in the list!

It's about damn time. The first game was one of the best RTS games around, and it was released in '04. I often wonder why some great games takes forever to come back with a sequel while other uninspired game rehashes are released too often on an annual or semi-annual basis. Some of the franchises I could name that took forever for a sequel are Starcraft, BF(direct sequel), and Doom(skipped an entire generation). I'm still waiting for HL3, Warcraft 4, and a few other games to be announced. However, we all know that HL3 will inevitably come.

Metro Video Game Series: A Comprehensive History

The Metro video game series started with a humble b-list title, before building a strong fanbase and becoming a pioneer in the industry.

Never got into Exodus, but 2033 was excellent.

kevco3369d ago

Yeah, Exodus just didn't grab me either, sadly.

I absolutely loved 2033 and Last Light, however. Played them both on 360 and then again with the remasters!

anast68d ago

I just started it and it is already miles better than the first 2 which are dated.

I had no idea that Bad Company 2 was still running, and only now that I know, I want to jump on! 😥

I was able to find games in the Vietnam dlc on ps3 the last week. There were articles on here about the server closure when it was announced in April

BF1943 is the only online MP game that I was genuinely interested in. Been playing since launch 14 years ago. Hate that I couldn't put in as much time to play as I'd hoped for during the final week.

I got really into 43 when I bought Bf3, and preferred it. Everything that I disliked or found annoying about Bf3, wasn't an issue in 43. Too bad they never bothered releasing it on PS4 or PC.

Dead Space 2...... I wasn't even aware that had multiplayer. Nevermind that it was apparently one of their best multiplayers!

anast127d ago

Once people stop buying micros, these companies close the doors.

Xenial127d ago

Dead Space 2 multiplayer had been hanging on for years - I'd boot my PS3 up to see some familiar names in lobbies. This will definitely be missed!

Lost Planet 3 - Lost in Time

Lost Planet 3 launched 10 years ago today, with an unusual take for it's time; casting the layer as an everyman opposed to an action hero.
