Quarter to Three: "When I play a game called Guardians of Middle-Earth, I don’t mind so much that it’s a Defense of the Ancients clone that doesn’t do anything different or memorable. I have Awesomenauts and Monday Night Combat for that. I don’t even really mind that it copies a game I already have — League of Legends — so shamelessly."

Mythor writes: I'm not particularly good at games in the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre. I really like the basic idea, but for whatever reason I am decidedly average when it comes to playing them. So when I see there's yet another one coming out it typically doesn't get a second glance.
Very poor game.
I did like to play it! I have to admit the servers are crappy, but the gameplay is fun :)
What hurts this game is the network. It's all Peer to Peer & it ruins the experience, I love the game.
Started playing LoL last night, and I prefer the GOME style over LoL, it's not as micro manage with gear and so forth.
You do not have to follow a set style of gear like in LoL, there is wiggle room to adjust your char with the belts and gems.
A controller is way better than KB/M, just easier.
I will say the MASSIVE MASSIVE issue with this game is how the netcode works, it ruins the experience.
Should have been dedicated servers instead of P2P, or better P2P netcode, I can not recommend this game to anyone due to the lag issues.
