They had me at cyberpunk. :3

Not a huge cyberpunk fan, but if done right can be great--so I agreed as CDProject is doing it ;) I'm looking forward to the trailer though as should decide for me right then just how much I'll want it, as long as in game anyways.

CD Projekt at the helm = instant sale

they've earned that wih amazing games, free dlc, no drm schemes, gog, fan feedback response, excellent and prompt patching of reported issues and all around stellar games

they are very, VERY few devs that I give that type of respect to, CD Projekt , blizzard, naughty dog, bethesda

(i know people will talk about the "bugs" with bethesda games, for me , over 120 hours in oblivion, 100 in skyrim, 60 in fallout 3 never a gamebreaking problem once on pc, got stuck in a rock once or twice, load last save, fine. the console versions, from what i hear, of bethesda games all seem to have issues, but, its 8 year old hardware and to be expected)

NYC_Gamer4129d ago (Edited 4129d ago )

Bethesda games on PC aren't 100% bug/glitch free either but the mod community always comes to the rescue

Blizzard? After Diablo III fiasco[s]?

landog4128d ago

i love diablo 3, personally

amazing production values, my freinds and i have put well over 100 hours in, excellent loot system

always on, drm online crap is lame, but, i always am online so no biggie for me

starcraft 2 is the best multiplayer game around imo, the sheer depth....insane

i love blizzard, still play warcraft 3 with my brother....so fun to vs eachother on the 100's of free maps and mods, sc2 literally has 1000's of mods, maps and modes....diablo 3 will only get better, loads of new content, an expansion in the works, blizzard is a top tier dev, no one is even close besides maybe cd project....they are new though, blizz has been making stellar games for decades...albiet, very, very slowly

Blackdeath_6634129d ago (Edited 4129d ago )

the only thing this game or even just the trailer needs is Daft Punk music and i am completely sold.

Awesome, just hope it is created using the engine as apposed to being pre-rendered.

Well they are using unreal engine now thanks to there work culture and horrific job on making cyberpunk so for the future no impact.

But it will be interesting to see what mods will be made

7 disagrees shows how many look at one dlc that had a rip off fight from ghost in the shell and goes wow what a goat team i love cdpr while ignoring that they only made 2 games that were good witcher 2/3 in 20yrs.

But its a new world we want a criminal that support's legal murder as president/support shoplifting love toxic work environments and have a mass casualty event every other day.

I’ll admit I didn’t play it at launch, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a really good game now.

And who the hell knows what you’re even going on about in your second paragraph here.

EazyC2d ago

Wait a min...I swear to god CP2077's source code got leaked before. CDPR needs to stop using "password123" for all their accounts 😅

just_looken2d ago

Na its hundreds ex employees no doubt just getting there revenge.

Profchaos2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

This is the same leak the threat actors have been trying to sell the source code after cd project didn't pay the ransom.

They didn't manage to sell the source code to any company largely because it would be unethical for say EA to buy it so the threat actors failed to find a buyer.

After they failed to make any money they went through with their threat of simply giving it away.

They will need to add everything they promised in the first one and not over promise on the second one.

just_looken2d ago

They also need to drop esg then hire employees that have knowledge not hire them because they have a set of tits.

Official video they hired people to fill the esg clipboard

Hofstaderman2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

As somebody who has been playing the tabletop games since the 90s and was let down on launch by my PS4 version, you can bet I'm not going the preorder any sequel.

3rd person option, and everything else that was originally promised. Next don't force agenda driven naratives. Finally, release a finished product without need for day one patches.
