The title says the criteria was explicitly written to mention Eternal Darkness. I am happy to see House of the Dead: OVERKILL on here. With the rise of Grindhouse themes in the 2010s, (ie WET), this was one that was both entertaining and camp funny.
Would be nice to see a new Zombie game set in the UK again, some of the landmarks, old architecture and the like really fits in well with the genre.

What a piece of crap review. Yes, Zombi U is flawed game in some areas, but to give it such a low score is absolutely insane. This game is far above average, and this review is just trolling for hits.

I was on the fence about ZombiU because of the reviews it's received. However, everyone on Miiverse seemed to love the game. So, I decided to get, and I now deeply regret not making this my first Wii U title! Great game. Flawed yes, but what launch game isn't? ....with the exception of the amazing Twilight princess, which was of course just a port.
Hold on there! I' m pretty old, read as experienced, and I' 've played games all the way back from Combat on Atari 2600 to GOW,Uncharted, and nearly all AAA titles that have ever been released, when they were released. ZombiU is, to me, the funniest game on Wii U, and is by no stretch of any sane person's imagination deserving of a 1.5. This game is extremely creepy, draws the player in so that the player's "life" has some vested value (you don't want your character to die in this game), and while graphically the game is not at Uncharted 3 levels, it still looks pretty darn good, especially considering it is a launch game! NO game on PS3 nor Xbox 360 looked this good on launch day. Don't listen to the reviews, listen to the players on this one. It's fun, it's scary, and definitely one of the best games I've had the pleasure of sitting down in a darkened room with in a very long time. If you haven't bought it yet, buy it. Then you, too, will be commenting like I have about how reviewers just don't have their heads screwed on just right on this one.
