"Guardians of Middle-earth is a MOBA. That stands for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, not a music award show. My toe was first dipped into these genre waters via Romino Games’ Awesomenauts formerly this year, an instantly accessible title with online splitscreen play. Monolith’s entry offers a proposition of more intricate depth that’s cast against the extensive background of Tolkien’s world."

Mythor writes: I'm not particularly good at games in the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) genre. I really like the basic idea, but for whatever reason I am decidedly average when it comes to playing them. So when I see there's yet another one coming out it typically doesn't get a second glance.
Please, stop releasing LOTR games. Just stop, for the sake of JRR Tolkien.
I'm not into LOTR at all. I'd rather it be generic random Characters / themed but this game IS fun.
It's about a 7.8/10 type of game. Not a 4/10.
All characters play different. Each character themselves has different ways you can play them, there is strategy involved and team work and the graphics are decent and besides the first 2 minutes of every match it runs smooth.
I agree...please no more Lord of the Rings games....but this game is actually a solid game.
