Vita? Again? You realize the ps3 started out like this too? It's going to be super successful. Take it off the list.

This list is for disappointments of 2012. Vita was a big one. Its not a list of what's going to maybe be successful in the future. The PS3 was disappointing at first, then it turned around. That doesn't negate the fact that so far Vita is underperforming big time.

Oh surprise , surprise Vita is on some trolls 2012 disappointments list. What an edgy thing to do , nobody has done that yet. It has become blatantly obvious at this point that the media is trying to kill Sony and this only further proves that. Sony is also not having financial problems as the media would like you to believe. They are one of the biggest companies in the world so they are doing just fine. Everything gets overblown for clicks and thats all there is to it. I am getting tired of N4G putting a spotlight on these TROLL articles and would appreciate if they would stop in the future.

Chill out dude it's just a piece of plastic. Why so serious?

Killzoner994130d ago

DON'T YOU TELL ME TO CHILL OUT!!!
I won't stand by as some know nothing slanders Sony and the best handheld ever developed in the history of gaming. The Vita is far from a disappointment , in fact it was the opposite . History will prove me correct and all the naysayers can go rot.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast17d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22917d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko17d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave17d ago (Edited 17d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
