It's things like this that make me wonder how much testing went into the new store... it's not user friendly, it's slow, things can be a hassle to find and now this. Sure it looks nice, but COME ON!

I was trying to get this to work on my PS3 last night, but couldn't. It kept coming up with Network Unavailable. Might have to try this again, but it's nice to have proof or what the next free Plus game will be on the PS3 and Vita.

EDIT: Nope! After changing the date, I have seen NBA Jam for free, for Plus users.

I am still on my fat 80gb PS3 and the new PS Store is giving me all kinds of headache. But before I do that, lets talk about search function.

I hate the way the new SEARCH feature works with alphabetized list. Theoretically, it should be easier to get what we are looking for using the list but when the list itself is not accurate that is when it gets frustrating.

I wanted to purchase SONIC 4 Episode 2 so I went ahead and searched in the letter S. The top 5-6 results were so off the charts! I then tried to use filters even that crapped out. It took me a GOOD 15 minutes just to find Sonic 4 Ep2 and that is frustrating

Now the problem that I am facing with the PS Store is very annoying. It starts lagging and turns real slow! Like for instance, say that I have been browsing the store, it keeps getting slow all the time. Pressing PS button also doesn't work, the whole navigation becomes impossible because it feels like that the PS3 is all of out RAM! And I mean COMPLETELY out of memory because I have to wait at least 15 seconds to see the Quit screen after pressing the PS button.

I've pretty much avoided checking out the store because it's so slow. I could just bring the old one up, take a quick look, and leave. This one is just too much of a hassle to even bother starting up.

Yeah, I thought I'd get used to it, but I no... it sucks. They need to go back to the old store. But NBA Jam On Fire Edition and Cronovolt are something to look forward to.

Chronovolt is a buggy, boring piece of trash. Most reviews average between 5-7 out of 10. Damn I wish we could get a better game instead for vita....

Yes he did get refunded but its the trouble it causes that can be the problem.

e.g I had Virgin take their payment 1 day early, (the money wasn't in there) it resulted in a bank charge, a 'fine' from Virgin and when my regular money went in they instantly took it and left me with next to nothing. After some angry phone calls to Virgin and a chat with the bank I had the charges refunded from both. Like I say, I got refunded, but the inconvenience it caused for that week or so (leaving me with hardly any money) was definitively a major inconvenience.

What I don't get, is that the browser based store ( http://www.store.sonyentert... works seamlessly and quickly, but the one that's based on the same HTML5 framework on PS3 is slower and takes a while to load initially.

Maybe it's the PS3's hardware, but surely if it can run something like Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3, it can run the store fluidly. Strange.

I don't think its lack of testing, I think its lack of knowledge from the internal devs.
I think sony should hire some outside devs, android devs etc. People that are up to date with discoring exploits early.

SOny is still just making a product and releasing it not accepting that people are more savy than before and that it does not all end at the hardware. THe software is equally if not more important.

Honestly, why a store based server would run off anyone's local time and not server time confounds me. All I can figure is it has something to do with day one releases, so people can play at midnight.

Yeah I'm always a bit skeptical about buying the cheaper downloadable games like Sound Shapes, Quantum Conundrum and those types of games because I don't want to miss out on the savings that I might get with PS Plus if I hold out.

I really don't like the new store, I thought I'd get used to it, find out how to navigate better, but no, it sucks. It looks nice, but you can't find crap, nothing is in any real order, everything is all mish mashed, why does each item have to have its own huge icon? it takes forever to find anything , when you go through the add-on section and get to "L" it takes 20 minutes to scroll through all the Little big planet crap alone...for the love of venus combine game content by title dont list each piece of crap....I want the old store back....there was nothing wrong with it.

why next gen? the old store was perfectly fine. the only good thing about the new one is that it looks nice but besides that everythng else is a hassle. you gotta go through like 4 steps to download a demo while in the other one all you had to do was click download and you were done.

Friggin' hate the store and let me tell you I can guarantee stats that this store is selling less than the old one. I don't even want to buy things on this store it's so bad. No idea who the **** did this but they need to be fired immediately.

If the store has a good sale going on, I don't think it makes a difference. I won't let the store layout stop me from grab a game that I wanted, that has receive a moderate price drop, due to a sale.

If I did, I would have missed out on AC3:L + Vita + Season Pass bundle for the Price of AC3 alone. Even if I did get AC3 on sale for 30 dollars, I still would have paid more than 60, if I wanted the season pass and Vita copy.

So, I don't think the layout is stopping anyone, when the the games they want are there and the prices fit there needs.

I'm not saying I like the story, I'm just saying if the price fits, it won't stop anyone from taking advantage and going in and using the store. At least in my case.
