[December 26] Update: Now with pictorial proof that this is real.
Original story: Stop the presses! Atelier Meruru Plus is real! 7netshopping didn’t make a mistake in listing it on their site!
According to this week’s issue of Famitsu Weekly, one of the new costumes for Meruru added in Atelier Meruru Plus for PlayStation Vita is that of Rorona’s.
Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "JRPGs become more predictable as they age. The mechanics are still sound, the stories still good, and the general concept still appreciated in a world where open-world everything is becoming the norm. Think of it as perpetual familiarity. We now what’s going to happen. Gust’s Atelier chronicles can fall within the bounds of predictable, but the series’ focus on individuals sets it apart."
Digitally Downloaded writes: "The PlayStation Vita has had a difficult life to date, though it has been moderately successful in Japan, and that means one thing; it has had a lot of JRPGs developed for it. A disproportionate number of them, in fact."
Posted by Chieh Chen on Apr 28, 2014 // Digital Distribution Manager, Sony Network Entertainment: "Hey everyone! I’m excited to announce we’re celebrating acclaimed Japanese games on PS3 and PS Vita as part of the Golden Week Sale starting tomorrow and running through May 5th. In Japan, Golden Week encompasses four national holidays, and doubles as the biggest travel and shopping season of the year. This week, we pay homage to this tradition with a golden (wink) opportunity to pick up some awesome games at up to 50% off. PlayStation Plus members get an added bonus, receiving up to 75% off."
Wow that is a great deal for the symphonia games. I'll probably pick that up as well as the Zone of the Enders games. I'm really tempted to pick up rain as well.
Decided to pick up:
Tales Of Symphobnia Collection (10$)
Rain (3$)
Time and Eternity (9$)
I'd say that's a great haul for 24$
Opinions on Atelier Ayesha and Hyperdimension would be appreciated.
Would get P4G too if I had a PSVita
I'm debating whether to pick those up too.
There is no "Atelier Meruru Plus" tag.
DO WANT.
Wow! Another JRPG on PSV that looks nice. But the problem is, I want it to be released in english. Comon Japan, give the rest of the world a chance to play your Vita's RPGs.
This is pretty quick knowing that Totori is already getting a Vita version too. So maybe Gust is porting the Arland series to the Vita so maybe we may get to see Rorona as well in the near future.
I loved Rorona & Meruru but have yet to play Totori cause just not enough 'time' to play it. So i will pick up Totori Vita if it gets localized. Knowing NISA it will probably happen.
