7 PS3 titles and 3 3DS titles? I'm really surprised with that.

Yes it's very surprising. Although I've never actually looked at numbers like these, I would have assumed 3DS software was outselling PS3 software just like hardware.

Games barely reach the 500,000 sales mark in Japan. Those that do are generally the MH, Pokémon, FF, Mario, and GT games.

November saw a lot of new ps3 realeases, which can generally post big launch week numbers and then fade away forever. The top 10 weekly sales are constantly full of 3ds games however, some more than a year old at this point. Games in the top ten generally sell between 10~80 thousand, with hundred thousand sellers usually reserved for new realeses.

Animal crossing wad the BIG thing this month, having sold more than (or around)150 thousand each week since launch. To put that into perspective, there is very nearly a 1 to 1 ratio of AC owner for each vita or 3ds xl owner. In about a month and a half timespan.

Thats way too much CoD being sold in Japan for such a bad game.

I can't wait to play the new Animal Crossing. Next year looks great for 3DS and PS3. It's a good time to be a gamer.

I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now

I would say it does. The combat is a bit shit for todays standards but everything else is great.

It's worth a play through today.

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.

Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.
