Having no hard proof whatsoever, I will still say that Fallout 4 is probably not a lifetime away from being announced. There has already been some talk of the game’s setting, and the general vibe seems to be that it’s the very next title to come from Bethesda. This feels like the right time to look back at this series’ bumpy existence and decide where we stand.
The Fallout Anthology Edition is coming to PC very soon, and is packaged with some very S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bonuses.
It’s an awful downgrade to the last one they did
They included physical disc back then
I would love the classic fallout games on console. Closest I could find was atom rpg, I liked that one a lot
Getting free games is never a bad thing and Amazon Luna has new offerings for Fallout fans looking for free adventures in the Wasteland.
The most disappointing and infamous video game endings even sour the overall thoughts of a game. Most of these titles represent some of the finest entries in their respective series, marred by an ending we can't quite forgive.
There is no game called Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, but Rebirth had a great ending imo. Felt robbed by the ending at first, but the more I've seen it and during my 3rd playthrough, I started to understand and realize a lot more that make me appreciate the ending.
I was enjoying FFVII Remake, even though those whispers throughout the game were annoying. But the ending was so bad that I don't even want to play Rebirth. On top of that, from what I saw on reviews, the ending of Rebirth is even worse.
Also, I'm glad to see Zero Time Dilemma being recognized as the trainwreck it is. After the amazing two first games (especially the near perfect second one), the low quality of the trilogy end is baffling. The new characters are bad, the old characters don't feel like themselves, a surprise "alien technology" pops out of nowhere, the big twist was like "eh?", and it doesn't really finish the story nor explains the loose threads from the second game.
Fallout 1 and 2 better than Fallout 3 and New Vegas? Come on your letting your nostalgia take over completely. Fallout 3 and NV are better in everyway. If they go back to the old formula it should and would work better as a handheld/cell phone game. I clicked on the article to hear thoughts on fallout 4 but all I got is your hate towards Bethesda and your fallout 1 n 2 nostalgia. I'd suggest actually giving fallout 3 a chance, doesn't sound like you cared to play it much because it didnt remind you of the first 2, fallout 3 is filled with mystery, odd random shit, good humor/ characters, great apocalyptic scenery, and everything you could basically want in a post apocalyptic game. One of the best games hands down once you get into it.
oh fallout, i love you like a song baby......
I'm so ready for another Fallout. Bring it.
i never played the original fallout (but i've read almost everything about them in the wikia :P) but fallout 3 and new vegas are my favorite RPGs ever (along side kotor 1 and 2) but the only thing a agree with the article is that when you hit the level cap you become unstoppable and there is no longer a sense of danger (unless you set the game to very hard with all autosave OFF, then when ever you encounter a foe you WILL feel fear because if you die you'll lose all your progress, its fun try it out).
I played both "Fallout" and "Fallout 2" back in the day on PC. And I personally think "Fallout 3" and "Fallout: New Vegas" were better games. I wasn't happy about the problems they had on console (like the freezing/drop in FR/etc.) but I still enjoyed them immensely.
In fact, I think I enjoyed NV more than 3. It had a closer vibe to the first 2 PC games, plus I liked the sunny weather more than the dark "ground zero" aspect of part 3.
I can't wait for Fallout 4.
