Compared to 2011, RPGs were fairly hard to come by this year, especially ones that surpassed the rest. When The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim took the Community Award for Best RPG of 2011, it was difficult to imagine that anything would come as close this year to the spectacular hit RPG. This year, much like the Best Fighting category, we couldn’t count Persona 4: Golden among our nominees as it hasn’t seen a European release yet. Look at the guild board of quests and you will find the controversial conclusion to an epic space saga, a resurrected lord of destruction, the return to the Unova region, a fantasy adventure huge in scope, one of the highest rated iOS RPGs of the year, and the swansong for the Nintendo Wii. Which quest did our community decide to embark upon?
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
This Canada Day, explore our homeland with the best video games that have adapted or reimagined the Great White North in digital form.
Mass Effect 3 is remade, rebuilt, and remastered thanks to a huge Mass Effect mod which changes almost everything in the Bioware RPG, as we await Mass Effect 4
Hmmm, I was not aware that Mass Effect 3 was an RPG. Interesting
Mass Effect 3? I am 100% positive that that was chosen for the hits alone. There is no frickin' way on the Gaming God's multi-terrained planet that Mass Effect 3 is the best anything other than the Best Letdown. And it ain't an RPG either.
What the heck are pokemon, me 3 and diablo 3 doing on that list? GW2, Persona 4, BL2, xenoblade, torchlight 2 > this list
I almost wanna pardon this site, since it was "community" voted. Still, Mass Effect is getting far too many accolades. It's like Skyrim to me.
Xenoblade wasn't nominated? I didn't play it but it got crazy good reviews...
