I heard the planetary alignment that the mayan calender signifies is supposed to happen at 11:11 am Central time on 12-21-12. I think that is near the same time that they would have been on too. We'll see I guess. Good luck peoples.

@Nathan, exactly, the system they invented for their long count calendar simply only works for up to Dec. 21, 2012. There is literally zero reason to believe that they actually intended for it to end on that date.

OT: I really like this list. Skylander's Giants I don't agree with, at least if it were ME playing it, but I like this guy's reason for it. If I had a son, I could understand his choice for it.

Um... Mayans calendar ended on that day, they didn't say the world would end :/ and if you know something about the Mayans you would know they where able to predict a lot of stuff.

They found only one tablet that says what will happen at the end of this cycle of thier calender and the last three sections are broken off so no one knows what it really says. It basically says

"on the last day of this cycle the world will..." and the last three symbols are broken off. We will find out tommorrow I guess.

Speaking of great games.

Does anyone have any thoughts on dishonored. I just finished ac3, my last trilogy/story driven series I had to finish. Now I'm looking for something else. I've heard good things about dishonored but as I've wrapped up all my series I don't want to get sucked into another one with cliffhangers and such. So does dishonored end on a clean slat and can be a nice Just fun stand alone like mirrors edge?

Play Bioshock if you haven't already and if you like that you'll find dishonoured just as fun if not better.

Tomorrow is an enlightenment, not the end of the world. Before an enlightenment, things usually get really bad. How bad have things been lately? Pretty bad.

The Mayans were astrologers, extremely brilliant ones, better than anything we have today. Astrology is all about emotion and mood, and how we act and the things we do.
