i agree with the writer. journey was an amazing game with a great art style

trovski1234144d ago

I almost teared up at the end of Journey... its so beautiful

I did too, was weird for me an my emotionless ass, couldn't believe I cared about the other person with what..an hour and a half with him/her. Great concept on the game anyway, i've felt that em..'random comrade' connection in other games too like Demons souls and even Gears of war(once). But Journey knocked the ball out of the park with it. I think the game would naturally bring out the best in everyone, there is no way to slag someone, or ruin the game for them etc, you can just.. make notes and help each other. And you simply seem to naturally do that - "Social creatures fact" etc.

Oh oh..the article, yes, the art was amazingly amazing in this. Art style trumps the **** out of graphics confirmed. Favorite part was when you're sliding through the sand and it's exceptionally golden and shin(Ya'll now where i'm talking about)

Article again...good picks, Naruto Storm looks great too as usual, it's the vivid colors that clash which make it great looking, lightning, fire etc. Good color use, I still think Storm 1 'looked' the best but Storm 3 looks to surpass it, Dishonored had a nice one to support the game and Borderlands always deserves the mention, I still have to play Walking dead(don't hate me)

The Magic of 'Dishonored’s' Blink

It’s a shame, really, that so few games have “borrowed” Dishonored’s Blink – in the right hands, such a power could be game-changing.

It felt kinda cheap to me… both in terms as a tactic, and game design

Abnor_Mal432d ago (Edited 432d ago )

There was a small game called Aragami that “borrowed” the blink, that was a good game.

Unfortunately I heard the sequel wasn’t good so I stayed away from trying it out.

The sequel changed some of the mechanics from the first game but it was still a very polished and enjoyable experience. You should definitely give it a shot sometime. The game's currently on sale on Steam

Abnor_Mal430d ago

Okay thanks for the heads up, will look out for it being on sale one day.

I really did like the first and played it back to back as soon as I finished the first play through.

Honorable mention to Drive Clubs Ferrari Fxx-K. Should be there over Horizon.

The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series

Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground

Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3

And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2

I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.

No one liked the Batmobile in Arkham Knight. Top 10?

toxic-inferno465d ago

I don't know... It was a strange addition to the game, and the parts of the game where you had to fight in it were tedious. But driving it around Gotham felt brilliant.
