Articles like this make me feel really old. Almost all those top "retro" titles, I played :P. Pacman, Defender, Breakout, Space Invaders...all of them *sigh*. Cool to see that Pacman is the #1 on the list with the most votes.

Gosh, I feel exactly the same, since Breakout is my all-time no 1 game :S

I'm just glad to see there are so many of us 30+ that are gamers. We've all seen the trends of gaming being cool, to gaming being just for nerds. We've been to the arcades, we've seen the visual quality of games go from a big ass pixel to HD pixelated boobs. We remember when it took a scrwedriver to hook a console to a TV... we've seen it all. I'm just glad to know that tere are other getting old farts like me that had the same experiences I had. As an older gamer, I have to say nostalgia sometimes blinds us into thinking that some games from the past are better than many of the new games. Sure, there were amazing experiences back then, but I never could have imagined gaming being what it is today back in the early days of gaming. Pong has a very, VERY important roll in the history of gaming, but is it really a good game by today's standards?

I remember nearly all of those. Those were the halcyon days of everything <3

I'm glad Kings Quest is on the list, that really forms most of my formative gaming years
