UK Charts – Black Ops II Remains Strong at the Top for Another Week

Hitman: Absolution has climbed right up from 6th to 2nd, whilst the games you’d expect to see purchased for Christmas populate the top 10, like FIFA 13, Just Dance 4 and Halo 4. Far Cry 3 falls from 2nd to 5th, whilst the Vita version of Black Ops II (Declassified) is in 34th place, and LittleBigPlanet Karting is 36th"

To be fair I don't think enough Wii Us have been sold in that territory to compete with the software sales from some of those giant franchises. I am sure that I did not have to mention that to any of you intelligent people though.

It's sold okay, but the thing is there was only 2 first party games really - Mario and Nintendo Land - with ZombiU (as a third party exclusive).

Perhaps the Wii U will have a sales spike for software in the new year, maybe there's a lot of consoles wrapped up ready to go under trees this Christmas?

Also, we've corrected an error, Nintendo Land is still in the top 40 (at 39) so there's ONE game there :-)

But you're right, compared to Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo probably don't have enough consoles in homes yet to compete.

I usually don't play the whole wait and see game, but around this time it would be wise to wait for some of the after Christmas sales. Also to see if software numbers pick up once a lot of the presents are opened. As you mentioned I am willing to bet that a lot of Nintendo's are waiting under a tree. If not than maybe that's just not their thing over there. It happens.

Started this game today. I just don't get the hype. It's not all that at all....

What did you play? Campaign? MP? Zombies?

MP is where the game really shines, but get ready to die a lot. Until you get to know your way around these maps, you are just another point towards someones killstreak.

Doing both like normal. On the MP, I was playing DM and DOM. Here's what everyone does every single game. Just like before in COD, people learn the maps very quickly. Then they run and plant themselves down and camp all door ways and tunnels the other team has to use. So what we have is everyone is camping. I was telling the people on my team to lets go. Why are you all just sitting here waiting. But most didn't understand English anyway. So it was all for nothing.
