There better be a lot of beer, food and gaming gadgets for that price

Hmph, full of casual crap, no doubt.

Cause its GAME and their business model is utter rubbish. I can't believe that I went in today after having spent £650+ in the last month on the WiiU the 3DS plus sooo many games and I decided today "ohhh i'm gonna buy myself halo 4 and hitman, I'll use my Rewards card I should have enough to buy one for free. Guy says all i have is £18 on the card.... You must be absolutely sh*ting me...

I hope this company goes under again sooo badly. Just because I think there should be a better business model, in which customers can feel rewarding to use the damn store. /end rant.

You want them to go under yet you have, in your own words 'willingly spent £650+' in their store. Words fail to express my disbelief.

On another note, go into Game and ask them if they price match. They will respond with 'yes'. Now ask them if they will pricematch their OWN online store. They will respond with 'no'.

Not pricemathcing other onlne stores is fair enough, failing to pricematch their own store is an epic fail. Shop at Game at your own peril.

Well what shall I do, its all GAME and gamestation. Gamestation closed down to transform into GAME retail, the only other viable option would be HMV, but that company is also garbage.

It wasn't all for my own spending this was those 650+ quid have been bday presents and future xmas gifts. I was literally baffled at the fact that all I got was a measly £18. I was hoping at the very least £50-60 quid. Enough to cover an entire new game.

So what shall I do? keep going to game or hvm both are crap. Ohh perhaps online buying... It wouldn't work for me as things like WiiU arriving on a saturday morning through the post would risk my sister finding out her gift.

HMV, Argos, CEX or any supermarket these days are alternatives on the highstreet.

It's your decision at the end of the day, but why would you slap HMV down exactly? The price is pretty much the same everywhere on the WiiU and 3DS and the weekend just gone they were handing out 5% off vouchers on purchases over £50 instore. I'm no mathematician but thats a substantial saving over the £18 Game gave you.

Argos also give free gift vouchers when you spend over a certain amount which when used cleverly can add up to %10 off.

Shop around, Game are the worst place to buy gaming gear and have been since they aquired Gamestation many years ago and eliminated competition at the time. As for online, nearly all couriers can be asked to leave your parcel with a neighbour...

Dumb publicity stunt to boost GAME profile over the Xmas period. It's highly competitive on the high street right now.
