Calm down. Just because it a browser game doesn't mean that it going to suck. Crystal saga is an mmo browser game and it amazing. So im not seeing what the big deal is? Star ocean would of been cool but the series is not popular anymore.
The problem is that they didn't need a count down for a game no one's heard of. Especially when they make it look like Star Ocean, and especially after the The World Ends with You countdown that let down so many people.
The thing is, we all have piss bottom feeding, lowest of the low expectations and somehow square manages to push boundaries and set new standards of disappointment on a daily basis. That in itself is pretty impressive.
I'm not disappointed at all. Wasn't really expecting much in the first place since the whole The World Ends With You countdown. Square Enix really needs to learn how to use their countdowns more wisely.
Another EPIC FAIL from the new-reborn rock-bottom-SE, one thing they do very good for sure it's that they don't stop to amaze us all with how low they can fall, well to be honest I didn't expect anything worth w8ing for & it wasn't.

From where Square enix is now they can look up and miles above them is rock bottom. I thought they couldnt do worse then a countdown timer for a mobile game, but they exceeded even my expectations and had 1 for a bleeping flash game.
i can't believe this is from the same company i grew up playing such amazing games from on ps1. it just boggles my mind. if only sakaguchi could or would come back.
I'm really just done with this company. They had a countdown... for this!? LOL! They put everything ahead of Versus because it doesn't exist - I'm a PS3 fan. I was also one of the people expecting Star Ocean 5, fools we were for that.
Why is anyone surprised by this crap? They've done this before. A few years ago Square Enix had a countdown, that led to a coundown, that led to another countdown, etc. It was like 5 countdowns. You know what it was for? They announced some shitty online card game. Square Enix doesn't seem to understand that countdowns are for big games that people actually care about.
wow, i expected a mobile game. but they gave us a flash game. who has a countdown for a flash game?
even with lowered expectations square enix still disappoints... not even a mobile game?
