Not sure if the WiiU's numbers are good or bad, The vita sold 324k on it's first week and look what happend..

Neonridr4150d ago

That's because Japanese gamers thought they were getting something new and special with the Vita. Then they all realized they were better off staying with their PSP's due to the abundance of support for that platform still.

Whaaat?! Do you imply Japanese gamers DON'T think they're getting something new and special with WiiU? Just having a dig at the Vita, I think...

Personally, I think the WiiU numbers seem pretty good.

Sad to see the 360 has seen a significant decrease (1 unit) in sales compared to last week. ;P

Makes me pretty sad to see the Vita doing so bad :/ such a wonderful handheld though the lack of support is putting a dent on the handheld

On the bright side there should be a price cut in order in 2013

I believe 2013 will be the turning point for the Vita all we can do now is cross our fingers and hope.

324k and 308k is a good number for first week. but You can't base anything off of first week sales.

Nintendo owns the Japanese charts

MikeMyers4150d ago

Yes they do. It will be interesting to see how the Wii U does in about 6 months time.

Jadedz4150d ago

The holidays already started for Japan, it seems.

3DS # | 211.499

PSV | 10.348

Crazy numbers for the 3DS. Passed PS3 LTD in japan lol. Vita still dead in japan..I can't imagine how much longer the Vita can survive without system seller games.

sikbeta4150d ago

Japan = handheld heaven, right?

You have to imagine how bad Vita is perceived If it's selling like it does

O-T

At least Vita is fighting the good fight to not go below 10k

Japan = Nintendo Land ;)

Samus HD4149d ago (Edited 4149d ago )

japan = sony and nintendo land*

Japan Love Nintendo and I have to say I don't blame them. I was not a big fan of the Wii or DS but Im loving my WiiU and 3DS at the moment and the WiiU has shocked at how good it is so early on in its life.

Sony have so work to do to try and get Japan away from Nintendo and MS Still have a lot of work to do to get a foot in the door.

I do think next gen will be Big for all 3 though. and I think it will work out that MS will have UK and USA, Sony Europe and Japan Will be Nintendo. I think it will be then close between 2nd and 3rd too in all areas.

Remembering Medal Of Honor: The Forgotten Master Of WW2 Games

Ibrahim from eXputer: "The Medal of Honor franchise was once the crown jewel of FPS war games, later defeated by the tides of time and poor development."

They tried to turn it into Call of Duty and it killed it off. They should reboot it and go back to it's roots. But they'd ruin it with online-only/multiplayer style bullshit so why bother? I have very fond memories of these games, but this series can stay dead as far as I'm concerned.

Was literally just thinking of this game the other week with the secret nut cracker mission and the shooting Bismarck dog lmao. Loved these games as a kid

I wish they’d remake warfighter

Strictly for the campaign

I have fond memories of playing the Medal of Honor Breakthrough MP Demo. It had two maps and custom servers. Living on campus, I had it downloaded on one of the PC Lab servers so I could access it on any computer at the university. Joined a clan and made friends that I still keep in touch with today.
