Aliens: Colonial Marines hands-on Preview - MMGN

MMGN: It may not revolutionise much, but it’s a breath of fresh air in the shooter crowd regardless. In many a shooter these days I’m yawning at the prospect of getting to x to repair y, but the Aliens universe is so alive that you never pause to give any generic objectives a moment’s thought. Add to this the blessed removal of a constant arrow on screen telling you where to go next (the scourge of many an already terribly linear shooter these days), and there’s little to stop you getting incredibly immersed.

It will be handled like zombiu. There was a mod in quake 2 that mimicked this game. I hope it turns out that much fun to play as the alien.

All of the talk about looking down at the gameplay is silly when you see movement you simply look up then. You don't need the motion tracker if they are in your room lol.

The Saboteur - criminally underrated and a fantastic mechanic of bringing colour back to Nazi-occupied Paris.

The article lists Bulletstorm, Sleeping Dogs, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Can't argue with any of those really, but I would add Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Metal Gear Survive to that list. Both terrible games from good franchises.

Bulletstorm, I actually liked the gameplay but the atrocious writing and characters made me despise the game by the end of it.

I still play AvP on PS3 to this day. That game had fun multiplayer too.
