The PS4′s Launch Line-Up – Killzone 4, Gran Turismo 6, MotorStorm 4?

TSA: "If, as current rumours are suggesting, Sony are aiming for next Christmas for the PlayStation 4 (with a mid 2013 reveal) then it’s likely that their mainline first party studios are working hard on a series of launch (window) titles.

That would include Guerrilla, Sucker Punch, Polyphony and Evolution, among others.

So, let’s speculate on what those teams might be working on…"

Yup. If two games could get me buying this console on day one, it's those two. I would be more than happy with Killzone 4 and Gran Turismo 6: Prologue.

Of course, to see that rumoured Wipeout PS4 launch title that was in development before Sony Liverpool was shut down would be fantastic too.

If Evolution Studios could re-capture the awesomeness of the first MotorStorm game, then It would help to justify a day one purchase of a PS4. I didn't care for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift all that much, and I didn't even bother with MotorStorm: Apocalypse.

It's complete wishful thinking. There isn't a chance in hell GT6 would be a launch title. Even if they "confirmed" it was now, it would get delayed for at least 2 years. A better bet would be to expect Last Guardian to be a launch title..

It's possible. That would also give them another 4 - 6 years to make GT7 for the PS4.

Or it could simply be GT6: Prologue.

you got another thing coming sony! KZ needs to be KZ not call of duty. I was shock to see that KZ1 story mode was way better than KZ2 and 3. Also the game play weight from KZ2 needs to be in KZ4.

and GT6! first of all gt5 was dreadfull, polyphony digital got a lot of work to do! my love for racing games is dead thanks a lot.

They would. I think that Guerrilla needs a new IP, so they can take a breather from the series.

oh my god i would go nuts if Evolution Studios were to release Motorstorm Word Tour as ps4 launch title, that right there would pretty much confirmed my ps4 investment day 1.
Other games i'd love to see as part of the launch line up: either Killzone 4 or Resistance 4,
next Sucker Punch project, Media Molecule New IP, Titan Studios new IP, Light Box Interactive new IP and Naughty Dog Next project, leave Gran Turismo 6 for at least 2 years into the console cycle.

The last motorstorm was surprisingly good. I wasn't a fan on the first one but the last one was not only hectic but fun. If they can build on that then I will be buying the next motorstorm

you have to understand that this is coming from a Motorstorm fanboy, i love the franchise, while to others Uncharted, inFAMOUS, Little Big Planet, Resistance are their favorite new franchises this generation to me is Motorstorm, i love the franchise and i would buy a ps4 just to play the next Motorstorm, of course there will be lots of other favorite games to play on the system but Motorstorm will be my reason number one as God of War3, Metal Gear Solid 4 and sadly The Last Guardian were my reasons to get a ps3.

After seeing all the Sony Sequel rumors and the general consensus on them, I never want to hear another complaint about any other game being "milked" ever again from this place.
Hell, if even half of them end up being true and everyone acts happy my head will explode.

- an exclusive Monster Hunter game
- an exclusive known JRPG title
- an exclusive Call of Duty game
- Uncharted
- God of War

with these titles they would probably cover great sales over the world.

The chance of getting an exclusive cod is extremely unlikely, but an exclusive MH would be flat out awesome.

Unless they make a Frontier 2, but that will most likely be MultiPlatform with PC.

The PS4 is gonna sell well no matter what but a new Uncharted, Killzone and Gran Tourismo would see it fly off the shelves.

I don't see all that games launching the same day with the console, but in it's first year maybe, no one can deny Sony had the best exclusive new Ip's this gen, that would help them to make next gen easier than this one when all third party exclusives became multiplatform.

Killzone 4 will most likely be a PS4 launch title seeing as the last game Guerilla Games put out was Killzone 3 and that was in 2011. They also are working on a brand new IP so maybe that one will come out sooner because they might have been working on it before 2011. 2+ years of development time should be enough to make another game especially since I believe Sony has made it easier to develop for the PS4. Also I doubt GT6 will be a launch title, more likely GT6 Prologue. GT5 launched in 2010 so 3 years for prologue sounds about the right amount of development time and then maybe 4 MAX 5 years (1-2 years after prologue) for the real big boy GT6 to come out. Sucker Punch will probably have another launch title whether it be inFamous 3 or a new ip. Media Molecule will have another launch title etc. Man I think Sony will have the greatest console launch titles ever with the addition of third party games. Sony is in a very good position in terms of gaming content because of the vast variety of first party publishers they have. They have put themselves in a good position. Oh, remember how Naughty Dog has 2 teams and one is working on The Last of Us? Don't be surprised if the other team is prepping something up for the PS4. BEYOND

I just sat there and played it all day long. Good times.
