How to stop Black Ops 2 lag

I already tried several solutions with MW3 ans nothing changed, the main reasons why there is lag is the lack of Dedicated Servers.

I don't know what Treyarch changed but they really f'ed things up. I even connected my xbox directly to my cable modem to no avail.

Me too. MW3 K/d was 1.70 on Blops 2 it's 1.30 after some major grinding to increase it.

I feel your pain. I get 57Mbps down, 17Mbps up, and I'm lagging all over the show. It's a joke. I haven't had a K/D below 2.0 since World at War. I was at 1.77 on Black Ops 2 when I opted to sell it.

This article is nothing more than Activision trying to cover its ass. No other game requires me to do this. In fact, no other game lags as badly as this one!

Bandwidth has absolutely nothing to with lag, you can play lag free on a 1mbps connection, all about the ping..

So if I told you I always get into lobbies with a 0<50ms ping and have a four bar connection in 90% of matches (which is true also of previous, less laggy Call of Duty games), you'd say...?

I have 4 bars in every game I join and draw host about 85% of the games I'm in and this has been my experience with EVERY COD EVER, my KDR from Elite is as follows.

Black Ops 1: 3.14
MW3: 3.16
Black Ops 2: 1.8 LOLOLOLOL

Seems legit right? No doubt the most Lag Compensation filled game ever created. I don't hate the game, I hate the stupid lag that renders it unplayable. Fix that and I'll come back kthanks.

It's not our routers Activision...it's your s***ty game. I have a library full of videos that show how much bulls*** the mp is. If you don't host the match, you're usually on the wrong side of lag.

How do you stop lag in Black Ops 2? By trading it in for another game.
