Gamezone writes, "Over the five-episode journey we'd been led to believe that our decisions will shape the outcome of the game. With the fifth episode, "No Time Left", finally completed I can safely say no, your decisions do not really make a difference — at least, not in the way your probably expecting."
"Come hang out and talk Telltale with us. This episode we talk about The Walking Dead Episode 5 – No Time Left. We wanna know your thoughts! Leave us a review!" -- PlayStation Enthusiast
Telltale Games have pulled out all the stops in No Going Back, with moments so powerful, so moving, that it will leave you with an emotional hangover afterwards. I wouldn't say it was as shocking as Season 1, but it was definitely worth playing for the powerful experience alone. It will manipulate your feelings and break your heart - a ride worth going on. With the release of The Walking Dead: Episode 5 around the corner, Telltale Games have released a developer interview.
This would be my game of the year if not for Journey but I do hope the next season brings in much more player choice. I enjoyed every second of this game but now I kinda know how the trick works with their choice driven gameplay I feel that might keep me from enjoying Season 2 quite as much. Even if they have to release shorter episodes to make room for different decisions I'd take that gladly.
I'm not even demanding choices that stack up and branch off into hundreds of different threads. I'm just saying, as much as I loved the first season and was surprised by each twist, this season, I'm probably gonna notice the joins a lot more. For example, if I'm given a choice to save one character or another I will probably notice the limited interaction with the person I just saved and will be waiting for them to kick the bucket quite soon anyway.
Still, an amazing experience and if it's 'tailored experience' or nothing I'll still gladly take it.
not really in the pc version the choices dont even carry over
just like mass effect, they really don't. you end up at the exact same end point regardless of your decisions.
they do ,but only vary little, you still get to the same place no matter what. Still it was a vary great game and worth getting imo. I can't wait for season 2. This is my Goty!
Still worth playing for the story.
Until Dawn is what you should be looking out for if you want a game where decisions really matter.
