Glacier928: "New Super Mario Bros. U is another outstanding installment that shows the plumber hasn’t aged one bit. Whether you’re playing solo, with a friend, or with a group of people, NSMBU provides for some of the most fun you’ll have on the Wii U. It’s simply a beautiful game to see in action, has the same whimsical audio and flawless gameplay that made it the franchise it is today. If you have a Wii U, then you must buy New Super Mario Bros. U."
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the first Mario 2D game in almost two decades without the New Super Mario art style, and it looks all the better for it
Am I missing something? It looks exactly the same, just higher resolution… Is this sarcasm?
This Mario game looks great, getting a switch for this and Mario RPG. CANT WAIT, TITS JACKED.
Yeah I liked how much more emotion could be conveyed through the new style at first glance I didn't see much difference but then rewatching the trailer I'm seeing more and more animations that remind me of the Mario artwork from the manual of smb3
I hated the new super Mario bros Style. This new one seems a lot more expressive and less generic. I hope it's a good game
I prefer the 2d Mario's. Me and my girl have played them all together and mario galaxy , Mario odyssey. The 2nd player option is extremely eh
Daily Video Game writes: "Dozens of popular select action-adventure, racing, RPG, and shooter games are currently discounted at Amazon for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch with up to 75% off!"
Retailers have put a few first-party Switch games from Nintendo on sale. Not only are the discounts available physically, but digitally as well.
This is one of the few reviews where the different types of yoshi were included and explained. Great Review!
However, I take issue with one aspect of this review. The part were it says "There’s no button or feature you’ll have to switch if someone wants to watch TV in your room and you’re still busy traversing..." I've not heard this explained this way. Even though I don't have the game, it was explicitly shown in the commercials that one could play the game while another watches TV. Can't you simply change the channel, so someone can watch TV, while the other person plays the game on the gamepad? The article makes it seem as if it's impossible.
I was not looking forward to this game much. I was disappointed in Nintedo's decision for another what I thought would be a rehash. So I did not buy it, but rented it. WOW I was wrong. The game is FUN plain and simple, and Mario looks very nice in HD. I will eventually buy this game for sure. The video game budget is blown for a month or so, with Christmas coming. Who knows Santa might get it for me. (LOL I am 41)
