Another November, another Call of Duty, this time Black Ops 2. I know that there are some guys out there who like to piss on the fans’ yearly Call of Duty parade, but for us this a great time each year. And I, hand on heart, believe that this year’s edition of Black Ops is not only the best game in the Call of Duty series to date, but it is also one of the very best first person shooters of this console generation. Does it redefine the first person shooter, as a gentleman from Sweden told me over Xbox Live last night?
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Call of Duty players are jumping into Black Ops 2 for the final time before its Wii U servers go offline for good.
GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 leap up due to summer sales
Wow, good games never get old I guess.
CoD will always be a beast of a franchise, and how awesome is it that you can just boot it up or pop it into your Xbox and play, MS BC is really a neat feature.
Not sure its redefining the FPS...but I do like BLOPS 2 so far.
Do an artical like this, it's just asking or trouble. Could hasn't redefined anything since 4
Well I've had my laugh of the day thank you X-Factor xD.
HA!! what a stupid article.... poor soul.. obviously he hasn't played BF3 for any considerable amount of time... that game spits in the face of CoD in every way except frames per second...
Black Ops 2 in my opinion has put the FPS Genre in the limelight like no other shooter has since the first Halo.
I have played BF3. I actually prefer it, but no game since the original Halo has made such an impact in the industry such as this latest CoD game.
You can't re-invent FPS. By definition it's standardized. First Person Shooter (Until they go Minority Report Style later in the future), but you can, and CoD HAS, taken the Genre to a new Commercial level.
Most will not agree. But there you have it. I'd like to hear from some folks that own the game. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that everyone that has commented so far does not own the game.
