She opened a closet door and rolled out an old Magnavox. The screen was covered in candle wax. The knobs – that’s right, “knobs” – were missing.

What's wrong with the guy moving into the girl's appartment? Maybe her place was bigger. Maybe he had roommates. Are you so backwards that you still adhere to the man having to provide everything or else he isn't a real man? Women can have kickass jobs too.

Or is this about them moving in together shortly after meeting? Shortly could mean 3 or 4 months and it's very common these days. Welcome to the 21st century, Mika.

When I have kids I would want them to experience all the joy and memories gaming brings. Of course I'm not gonna let them play cod when they are 10, that's just bad parenting. But growing up with Mario,Zelda, and crash bandicoot gives me very happy memories that I would not trade for anything.

How many kids do you know that don't like video games? That's like a kid not liking candy.

If your kids like games then fine, but there are kids out there, just as like when we were younger that simply do not like video games.

That's like saying that you like pancakes, so you want to make sure your kid would get just as much joy out of pancakes too. Let your kid get joy out of what makes them happy, if it's playing video games, playing music or out running around in the yard.
