Nintendo Power has finally come to an end. Subscribers should soon be receiving the magazine's December issue, which is its last.

That's awesome. I still have an old PS demo from PSM that had like Jet moto, Twisted Metal, Crash Bandicoot and like 8 more other games on it. Man that was one kickarse demo. Played the heck out of it back in the day and it was just a demo. Miss those days.

It wasn't just the pictures that was nice. Don't forget the codes. Back in the day magazines were the only way to get cheats/walkthrough help apart from game genie/gameshark. Sucks that NP is gone, it has been around forever. Makes me feel bad for not really supporting NP. Why does it have to end? What about people who don't have internet? What are they going to do to get their game info? Internet really changed a lot of things... some bad and some good

Still hoping Nintendo will relaunch Nintendo Power as an app for the Wii U/3DS. Won't be the same as having a real magazine, but at this point i'll take anything. I need Nintendo Power in my life...and Die Hard GameFan if anyone remembers that one...

Won't happen. Future wanted to keep Nintendo Power going as Digital, but Nintendo declined. So don't get your hopes up :/

Nintendo power is the alpha omega of gaming mags, and always will be. 24 years old. if nintendo power would have gone to school, it would have had a masters by now.

The downfall of this magazine speaks volumes about the state of nintendo and gaming. They aren't about the games anymore.

How can you have a magazine about nintendo games when 80-90% of your library is stuff like zumba, my pretty pony and fitness games. You can't.

Good riddance. RIP Nintendo. You've had your time. It's over.

How convenient to equate the decline of print media towards a failing of the games company.

Even the US postal servicehas been considering reducing daily deliveries to three times a week, due to the reduction of paper based media (and billing).

The fact they survived this long in our digital age speaks volumes to their strengths.

I remember that first issue, and the "Nintendo Fun Club" magazine before it turned into Nintendo Power. Heck, I used to call Captain N once a week for free tips. While I haven't read the magazine for a few decades, still sad to see it go. It is due to the changing times, though...not a company failure.

Most magazines are stopping production it has nothing to do with Nintendo. Everyone wants to go digital and the only reason game informer is so big and popular is because gamestop sells it with their discount card. And even they want to go digital. Nintendo is still as big as they used to be and will forever be because they make a lot of games for kids and there will always be kids around so deal with it.

Back on topic, It's real sad that the state of this and many other printed magazines is like this. I still remember the Classfied Information where you found cheat codes and the like, man those were the times. BTW, I found my copy of the first issue not too long ago going thru my old things. Too bad it isn't in mint (or near-mint even) condition.

Still thanks Nintendo Power for those times you gave us. We will always remember you dearly.

Now back to what is important here, this is a sad moment. But it's also the opportunity to remember the good times. That cover is just a good way to look back and remember with joy their long journey.
