You'd think being the First Lady of the United States would mean you're on top of things, but not even the most powerful household on Earth isn't up to speed on everything.
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
A new list goes over eight of the the most useless amiibo, ranging from the Shadow Mewtwo card to the Qbby figure.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."
I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.
there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.
nintendo needs their bangers early on
Why the would the president's wife know what a gaming console is. That is like saying my mother should know what my PS3/360/Vita/3DS/Wii/U is. Just because she has kids that doesn't mean she knows everything they like or want. We don't even know if her kids even want one.
And better yet, I'm sure she has better things to worry about when what the a Wii U is or any other console out there.
Why is everybody acting like Nintendo isn't distinguishing it enough? The main advertised console is black, NOT white. It's horizontal, NOT verticle. The game cases are blue with a new logo. The controller is completely different. Advertisments show a system with the controller. There is a U after the Wii part. Not too complicated. If you've seen an ad about the system before anywhere (which maybe thats why she didnt know, it is a new system after all) you would have to be an idiot to not catch on to the fact that it's a new console.
This isn't news. It's just Kotaku rambling again.
News?
I would imagine she has more important things to worry about than Nintendo's new video game console. In fact, I would hope so.
