lensoftruth? Umm...about that:

Watch the 3rd video clip from the bottom, the PS3 vs 360.

Watch the screen tear ticker on the bottom right hand corner of the two systems, you can CLEARLY SEE the 360 version numbers on the right side TEARING like crazy, especially during the first several seconds of the vid'. All the while the PS3 stays at exactly zero tears.

This continues throughout...fast forward to one minute and just watch as the 360 side sits at a 0.1 tear while the PS3 sits at exactly 0.0, and a higher framerate.

Yet in the "final analysis", they claim the 360 version doesn't tear at all. Not only that, they claim the PS3 tore more despite VIDEO EVIDENCE to the contrary.

Wow. Is this Gametrailers' GRID debacle all over again?

I've seen a lot of comparison videos with frame analysis between 360 and PS3, and while overall(Let's ignore the bad port of Assassin's Creed for the sake of this conversation) the 360 versions look a bit sharper and have an overall more steady frame rate, the PS3 has very little screen tearing in the Assassin's Creed games compared to the 360 versions, and frankly that's a lot more important to me.

I know right, if you watch the videos the ps3 clearly has more FPS most of the time but they claim they average slightly lower. The Xbox version constantly has slight tearing. The only thing the wii U had over anyone else was it seemed to have a steadier framerate, not a lot better or anything but it didnt seem to jump around as much.

All three look good, so everyones a winner here i guess.

Question, how come the first video and third video have significantly more frames for the Wii U version? I mean in the first clip alone the number of frames is over double the others.

Is the Wii U version rendered differently causing more frames?

People can nitpick all day. But I think this is the best looking AC to date by far. The naval game play is beautiful. The water in this game looks very real. The environment, weather, etc are all very well done. I've put 60 hours into this game in 2 weeks time and I still get fascinated with the games appearance.

I have it on the PS3.

Wow Wii U is looking good, again another good port.

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK264d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
