Next Far Cry Sequel Teased By Ubisoft?

IMGMR reports that the next entry in the Far Cry franchise might already be in the works by Ubisoft, and that we might be seeing it on the next generation of consoles.

You guys seem to get a lot of stuff from Ubisoft huh? That sounds pretty cool but definitely likely and understandable. Might be a launching title for the new consoles.

Ares84HU4159d ago

That would be cool. Far Cry 4 on PS4 and NextBox showing off what the hardware can do.

I might get disagrees but I wouldn't mind farcry being in arctic environment. Polar bears, killer whales, blue whales, walruses, arctic foxes, tricky ice floors and of course bad guys will be a threat.

I want to use a snowmobile & find under water caves.

or will farcry be in a jungle or tropics forever?

Maybe it will be in space. starcry?

dirthurts4159d ago

Alaska would be a better environment.
With the forest, glaciers, lakes, massive peaks...
I can only imagine the possibilities.

That-Guy4159d ago

Yeah I'm up for an arctic setting. Could be really interesting.

gemugurl4159d ago

By next generation are you talking about the Wii U and Xbox 720?

nassour4159d ago

well Wii U is the start of Next Gen but ya, i guess they mean all the new consoles coming out

Ares84HU4159d ago

WiiU isn't next gen...well it is for Nintendo but it looks current gen so I don't know where to put that system. It's an in-between gens console.

Zhipp4159d ago

It looks current gen because nobody has fully utilized it. Doesn't mean it won't be able to run next-gen games.

dirthurts4159d ago

I consider the Wii U a primer...
Not next gen, but it's laying down the base coat for the shiny stuff.

djslimzz4159d ago

What...OMG that is awesome!!!!!!!

bubblebeam4159d ago

As long as they don't get any funny ideas. Hopefully they take the time they need with the series, and keep it fresh.

candybooty4159d ago

This is just getting me excited for E3, the beginning of the next gen is here and I'm glad to see Ubisoft is on top of it. They were extremely present with the Wii U's launch titles so I'm glad to see them so aggressive with the next generation.

Good Guy Ubisoft.

Candybooty....OUT

gemugurl4159d ago

djslimzz4159d ago

They owned E3 2012...& am pretty sure they will own E3 2013.

Obviously because Mr.Caffeine was nowhere near center stage.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
