"If you defend a shoddy business practice or a bad game, for no other reason than you count yourself a fan of one gigantic corporation’s cold box of wires and plastic, then guess what — you’re a bad fan. You’re an awful fan.
...Supporting the entertainment you enjoy and addressing criticism you disagree with is absolutely fine, but unquestioning fealty, pledged to some company that doesn’t know who you are, and shouting down any form of dissent, no matter its validity, is fucking ridiculous." -Jim Sterling
Release date and expected launch time for when the Fallout 4 next-gen update will come out along with how to download.
This is a huge release being treated like a patch update but really it’s a monster in disguise…Bethesda being Bethesda, no actual release times or pre load available or file size info, sigh. All that said, clearing space on the SSD and putting the PS5 in rest mode while at work so I can play later, fully expecting snail download speeds as millions bang on their servers.
It just popped up on the UK PSN store as a native PS5 download of 56 gigs. I had the PS4 version installed in case it just patched that but it is it's own download.
Not sure if that download includes the DLC's though which I own, think it's just the base game. At the moment there's no separate PS5 DLC download options. But might just take a bit for it to be added.
WTMG's Leo Faria: "A Difficult Game About Climbing is obviously frustrating, and I don’t exactly think it’s a fun pasttime, but it’s exponentially more enjoyable than the horrendous Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy. It’s actually beatable with enough trial and error. Its mechanics, whilst not exactly polished to the brim, work as intended, with no intentional input lag. It’s still clearly meant for Let’s Play youtubers to film themselves losing their minds over it, but it can still be a passable challenge if you’re up for the task."
WTMG's Leo Faria: "I loved that New Star GP ended up being nothing like what I was expecting from it. I thought I was going to get a simple and straightforward love letter to Virtua Racing, only for it to be something more akin to the best F1 racing games from the mid to late 90s, with a perfect blend of accessible physics and simulation elements. New Star GP is adorably retro in its visuals and vibes, but it’s got some surprising amount of depth and an interesting career mode. A little hidden gem in the racing scene, without a doubt."
with all the rumors on N4G, of MGS coming to the xbox

"In summation, I hate the Vita."
Call of Duty comes out on Vita and those who constantly promote the device are quick to say give it a chance and that the scores should be higher, yet are very quick to shoot down the games on the console and PC. Funny how the media gets bashed for giving the PC and console games high scores all the time, even funnier is how millions upon millions keep buying it while people here say don't waste your money. Yet on N4G we are supposed to believe members here who are probably way more biased than those who do reviews for a living? Yeah, sure.
Holy crap, that was a great article. I have disagreed with Jim in the past, but that article was excellent. He sure as hell knows how to write a good article. I'll be sure to read more of his articles from now on.
Everything he said was spot on. I highly recommend everyone reads it. I doubt it will change any of the childish fanboys' attitudes, but it is a great read nonetheless.
I'm just waiting for the first idiot to say he was biased against a particular system in that article.
EDIT. "Hicken" already put his tin-foil hat on. Sigh...
example..... EVERY CoD game that comes out with its stupid bug, glitches and issues, yet gets 9s, but its competion comes out with the same type issues, and is destroyed but the nerd so-called "game journalists"..... pathetic...
