lol if they aren't playable, i will jump off a bridge

Optical_Matrix4163d ago (Edited 4163d ago )

I think it's safe to assume they are playable. The screens in the scan look like versus matches to me so I think they will be playable :)

Edit: Hadn't realised you could enlarge the scan. My bad, they're shots from single player. That said, if the character model and move set is there, there's no reason for CC2 to exclude them, or the seven swordsmen of the mist while we're on the subject

tayz4163d ago

Ya i was staring at the scan for like an hour. They will likely be in because the models for Kinkaku and Ginkaku look better then the Swordsmen. At least in the pictures I saw. I'm nervous about the Swordsmen, it will be a bitchfest if CC2 leave them out.

I'm sorry but these 2 characters are probably the most bizarre characters in the whole series of Naruto. Some of the weirdest jutsu techniques. What did the editor put in Kishimoto's food when he was doing that chapter arc.

Zodiac4163d ago (Edited 4163d ago )

They didn't even use Jutsu all that much. They just used the weapons left by the Sage.

Anyone could have picked up those weapons.

They are very strong, though. Anyone who can beat Tobirama is a bad ass in my book.

Irishguy954163d ago

Yeah you are right, they were a random plot device to make sure Juubi could come back without Naruto's capture

Snookies124163d ago

Yeah, they were kinda randomly thrown in there to make things convenient... I mean, if they were thought of well beforehand, I'm sure there would have been mention of them earlier on in the series. :\

animegamingnerd4163d ago

i remember when a chapter came early this year where tobi/obito was revive the ten tails without bee and naruto and i just went facepalm at that cause that would just make this war completely pointless

animegamingnerd4163d ago

honestly i didn't understand the whole having them in the manga to begin with hell

Nice!!!!!! Now bring it to North America and then OMG!

DragonDDark3019d ago

Ps3 though.
Wasted opportunity imo :(

rezzah3019d ago

They dont want to put extra effort ($) into the oldergames.

The money made off of this will support deelopment for the upcoming season pass.

yuukiliu3019d ago

If it was for PS4 that would be amazing. Play through the whole story on 1 system!

LAWSON723019d ago

Recently just bought 2 at GS for $6 and ordered 1 for $17 off eBay, so even if this did come to NA I am to invested to get this.

The Top 8 Games Based on Anime

IGN - Like all the cool special edition PS4s, Japan keeps the best anime video games for itself. Unless it’s from a super popular series like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto, then there’s sadly little chance of games based on anime making it to North America. If a game does receive an official translation, it’s usually several months to years after the initial Japanese release, such as with J-Stars Victory VS+.

Even so, a few gems have made it to North America over the years. Whether you're a huge anime fan or just a gamer looking for some stylish action, you can't go wrong with these 8 awesome anime adaptations.
