America’s Black Friday might be hogging all the limelight at the moment, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some great deals out there for us Brits – Sainsbury’s has slashed the price of the 12GB PS3 Super Slim.

Today has seen Sainsbury’s begin what they describe as their “biggest ever” gaming sale, introducing a 40% discount across consoles, games and accessories.
Most Large Supermarket offers are a big con anyway.
The prices on them games have been increased before the offers were put on. so instead of actually saving £3-6. They advertise you are saving £5-15.
They do that on all things. Tesco's, ASDA, Sainsbury, etc. Look at the prices before the go on offer. I bet the price will go up.
You're right, they'll probably base it on 'RRP' which some places seem to think is £45.

More retailers have cut the price of the Nintendo 3DS ahead of its March launch.
Sainsbury’s has listed the handheld console at £199.99 on its website – which comes with 1,000 nectar points – while Dixons is selling it for £199. The latter is charging buyers a £10 deposit.

amazing deal. i see this has a better deal than having the option to buy a wii u with all the games for the same price.
the ps3 is the most powerful console on the market with the best and highest rate exclusive titles that supports the best media formats so this is the best deal for getting a home console or media player streaming device

Children calm down with the pointless arguments. One system came out 6 yrs ago, the other came out LAST WEEK. Should anyone even question which one is more powerful? Although I haven't tried a wiiu yet, Ps3 is where its at for me.
Let me shed some light on this. Yes the PS3 is still the most powerful home console. The PS3 defintely has the better processor. The WiiU's processor is just basically 2 Wii processors. The WiiU has the better GPU vs. the PS3's. The WiiU has more RAM than the PS3, but the PS3's RAM is faster. Lets see if the WiiU will ever produce a game that looks better than Uncharted 2. I doubt it because working with slow RAM is extremely frustrating for any software developer.
