Almost half of the UK’s children own a mobile phone and 9 ¼ is the average age they get their first handset. By that age, they are also the owners of their first videogames console, digital camera, TV, MP3 player and laptop. This is according to research carried out by Gadget Show Live Christmas, which takes place from 30th November to 2nd December at ExCeL in London.
EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.
EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.
Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.
This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.
SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Originally launched in 2011, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Nintendo Switch, so It's time to look back at the original.
With the defense MO failing, many players think that a change in how these missions work is called for.
"Sally Bent, marketing manager, Gadget Show Live Christmas, said: “Connecting with technology is second nature to kids nowadays. Babies playing with mobile phones, toddlers swiping their index fingers across tablets and tweens glued to their portable games consoles are common, everyday occurrences, so it’s not surprising that more and more parents are feeling comfortable about giving their kids access to technology at a relatively young age.”"
Trying to dissect exactly what this "marketing manager" is even trying to say there. "kids have electronics, so now parents are comfortable giving them electronics", it's some kind of catch 22. Hate marketing idiots. Seems like Sally is of the opinion that technology is dangerous to kids, why does she work for the Gadget Show?

So... it's last years data then? Or they have a time machine.
Also that site needs a redesign.

why the hell does a nine year old need a phone?
Phones I never understood. Where are you going at 9 years old? Go run down the street to get your friend, or use a house phone.
However other things I understand. Video games are good, I rather see kids playing and talking to each other on a video game, than sitting there watching TV.
Also you have to wonder how many of these things were purchased for the "family" but told it was for the kid? You know, sure I'll buy "you" a Xbox/PlayStation, but I'll be the one playing it most of the time. lol
Things like that are a showing what kind of people are today's parents (most of them, at least). It's the syndrome of "buying their kid's love", giving them whatever they ask, without minding if they really need them or the possible consequences of that action. Well, it's their choice.......
