Treyarch was planning on removing the Nuketown 2025 map from the online playlists, relegating it to just Custom Games and upcoming ‘special events’. But this news didn’t sit well with people who pre-ordered the game before launch solely for access to this map, forcing them say not-so-nice things on Twitter, and Treyarch has responded to this outcry by bringing it back.
Following the Wii U and 3DS servers being taken offline, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and Ghosts are officially dead.
Call of Duty players are jumping into Black Ops 2 for the final time before its Wii U servers go offline for good.
GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 leap up due to summer sales
Wow, good games never get old I guess.
CoD will always be a beast of a franchise, and how awesome is it that you can just boot it up or pop it into your Xbox and play, MS BC is really a neat feature.
It never should have left in the first place.
I get that people really loves this map, but in the end it can't stand up to classics like Dust2 or 2fort. I'll stick to the other playlists I guess.
Glad Treyarch is bringing it back. That didn't take long
:)
I knew it piss off the fans and see they wont buy another cod black ops game give the fans what they want
They tried to pull a fast one and screwed up big time. I bet they were planning to shovel it in the next DLC pack to have everyone that pre-ordered to buy it again.
EDIT: Just read their reply, they took it out because it fragments the community yet they'll add it to a small maps moshpit rotation which will introduce the fragmented problem instead of keeping it separate so those that pre-ordered can enjoy it. Still a load of bull.
