Fans of the Saints Row series that are signed up to receive their news letters were recently asked to participate in a Saints Row: The Third related survey in exchange for an exclusive wallpaper. The survey is conducted around the Initiation Station; where players were able to create in-game characters and share them via the Saints Row website. This was something that gave players early access to the create a character portion of the game before Saints Row: The Third was released and preceded through the release as a quick way to make a character without booting up the entire game. It is great to see the company reaching out to the fans about the game so any mistakes that were made can be learned from. There would be no other reason to be conducting such a survey unless they were putting thought into what to add to the next installment to the franchise, Saints Row 4.
GF365: "We all love experimenting with character creation to make unique protagonists. These are the games with the best character creation systems."
Slightly disappointing game but Wo Long had a good creator. I was impressed by Oblivion back in what 05, 06? But the worst i have ever seen, clearly, Valheim.
Honestly the one I remember being easiest and flexible enough to make any character I imagined was the PS2 WWE games, and Saints Row 2. I did really enjoy Dragons dogmas character creation too
Lol CP 2077 is one of the easiest and less detailed editors around. It's all a mish-mash of presets.
GF365: "Whether it be style, speed or firepower, these rides are sure to satisfy. Here are our picks for the ten best vehicles in video games."
The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series
Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground
Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3
And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2
I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.
Remember this year's Saints Row(opens in new tab)? Volition would probably prefer that you didn't, which might go some way to explaining why the studio recently decided to upgrade everyone's copy of Saints Row 4(opens in new tab) to its full-fat Re-elected Edition, containing all the game's story and cosmetic DLC and even introducing cross-play between Steam, Epic, and GOG versions of the game.
Unfortunately, that upgrade seems to have backfired, and players now report a myriad of bugs with their new version of SR4. Both the Saints Row Steam forums(opens in new tab) and subreddit(opens in new tab) are filled with players complaining of broken saves, crashes, and mods failing to function. It's also received a few hundred negative Steam reviews(opens in new tab) since the update. If it's succeeded in washing the taste of Saints Row (2022) out of players' mouths, it's only because it tastes even worse.
I wonder if Volition's getting reorged under Gearbox impacted the quality of their release.
Hopefully if lots of people give their input, it will help make Saints Row 4 as good as Saints Row 2 was...
I loved Saints Row The Third! From everything that I have read online, it would seem that the fourth game will be even more over-the-top. Can't wait!
This would be nice, I think THQ is a great company they just need to produce what they know is good and stick with that, I would have like to see more of an expansion with Darksiders II as that could have been taken places, but Saints Row 4 would be amazing!
Hopefully they can tone it down abit, bring <spoilers> Johnny back and get rid of this over the top crap...theres too much which spoilt the game a little bit
Oh and with GTAV having such a massive map, they need to work on that for the next game. SR3 was tiny compared to SR2
They seriously need to wait untill next gen before they make SR4. It's way too soon...they are killing this franchise.
Here's hoping it's a real sequel to SR2, the third was almost like a totally different franchise. Biggest letdown this year IMO.
