2012: The Year Gaming Forgot

Has 2012 Been the Worst Year for Gamers in this Century So Far?

I once thought the release of great games came at regular intervals, with each year having five or six brought out during the Spring and Winter periods to go alongside our runny-noses and inability to do anything outdoors due to frightful weather.

ummm...diablo 3, dishonored, halo 4, guild wars 2, torchlight 2, xcom, and countless other great games, with more to come like far cry 3 and hitman.

this year has been EPIC and loaded with great games

You're probably just feeling the current-gen fatigue. Good games did come out.. they were just.. to similar to their predecessors.

Journey, Gravity Rush, Tales of Graces, P4 Arena. P4 Golden today. More stuff to come. Not a bad year for me.

Was AC3 this much of a letdown?! Also, I don't believe that dishonoured was just more of what we see every year...
All in all, with games as ME3, AC3, Borderlands 2, Xcom, Dishonoured and Hitman, I think this was a pretty good year already in gaming - and there's still FarCry 3 on the way, right?
