good to hear the humor is more apparent.

NukaCola4165d ago

I wonder if the "drug wars" game from Chinatown Wars will be in this one. I loved it. Such a classic PC monetary system, but fits so well into the world of GTA.

GroundsKeeperJimbo4165d ago

Or somehow make gang wars relevant again, man those were a blast.

brodychet4165d ago

Yeah. San Andreas will forever be my go-to nostalgia. Although i really enjoyed GTA4, i hope this feels more like GTA SA <33333333333

SolidStoner4165d ago

if this game is GTA4 + GTA SA then this will be an epic bomb!

showtimefolks4165d ago (Edited 4165d ago )

the 2nd trailer show off a lot of craziness from jumping out of a plane in a car to head on collision with trains

GTA5 will be the best open world game of this gen passing RDR which IMO is the best open world game ever. RDR just had that magic that is so hard to explain

Avernus

they talked about giving players a lot of money in GTA4 but nothing to spend on so they are saying money will play a huge part let's see

Avernus4165d ago

I'm curious about the economic system tbh. You can't buy houses, so what do you do with money??? Give me stuff to buy R*

iamnsuperman4165d ago

Weapons or car parts I guess. It would be good in a future GTAto be able to customise your weapons. Add a new barrel or sight or colour scheme. It is a shame you can't buy buildings.

gameseveryday4165d ago

Possibilities:

a. Weapons modifications
b. Car parts
c. Clothes
d. Going with your friend for a game of pool

With R*, possibilities are endless.

CraigandDayDay4165d ago

Maybe you'll have to actually pay for your hookers in this one. Haha

brodychet4165d ago

CraigandDayDay - LOL NO. Still just running over them when they get out of my car. Maybe twice.

Blastoise4165d ago

Hats? Hawaiian t-shirts?

Lots of Hawaiian t-shirts.

MastaPiff4165d ago

No new houses to buy kinda has me bummed. I have a ton of unique vehicles (bulletproof, rare paintjobs you can only get once etc.) in all previous GTA's. They end up maxing out my garage space but it's worth it. R* why haven't you solved this & just let us spend our cash on a warehouse,an airplane hangar & a marina to store our different vehicles!!! If we end the game rich all the time let us live like it!!! BALL OUT!!!

i want to see NIKO returning, he's perhaps my favorite gta character ever

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

GTA IV is still one of my fav games ever but after i saw gta v, i can't help but think gta iv was only a tip of an iceberg

stage884165d ago

Niko is my worst protagonist out of all the GTA's. So annoying. I hope the new ones are a lot better and have a richer back story.

ape0074165d ago

WoW human being can be 100% the opposite, niko imo is the most character that move emotion, you want him to win, his accent and his voice matched perfectly and a breath of fresh air, his screams are the most unique I've heard in a long time, he is something special, that's why R* north decide to show him in the very first trailer of gta 4 cause they were 100% confident in the idea

CaptainYesterday4165d ago

When I played The Ballad of Gay Tony I felt it had more of that GTA humour more than GTA4 which had a more serious tone, I still loved GTA4 but I prefer The Lost and Damned/The Ballad of Gay Tony. Can't wait to get my hands on GTA5 hopefully things from previous GTA's return :)

Cost of realistic looking movement.

lucasnooker32d ago

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos32d ago (Edited 32d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar32d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo32d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp32d ago (Edited 32d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg32d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos32d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
