WC: No doubt Rockstar has had incredible actors do the voiceover work for their characters. Vice City had loads of Hollywood names; San Andreas brought in more urban celebrities to add the genuineness; IV had incredible actors (Michael Hollick did a mind-bogglingly excellent job as Niko Bellic).
But there are always celebrities that fans listen to and think “Wow… imagine if they were in GTA.”
Well, here are some awesome actors that would do excellent jobs as characters (protagonists and antagonists alike) in a GTA game.
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 are both classics, but movement and general interaction sometimes feels like you're possessed by a fridge.
Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…
The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.
Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games
I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
10. Liam Neeson

Id like Willem Dafoe to star in a GTA game, Christopher Walken would be awesome aswel
Plus bubbles for sparing me from wasting my time giving this trash site 10 hits. After they said Liam Neeson sucked in the Taken movies, I didn't care what they had to say because clearly they're morons. Liam Neeson was a total badass in the Taken movies and whatculture.com needs to get lost.
they forgot to put me in the list
Great idea...Pay these people like Cameron Diaz got paid for doing the voice of Fiona in the Shrek movies 20 million per movie....The voices better be fantastic!
Then games can cost even more, and we the consumer get the honor of paying...
Get some talented actors not known, but with great/special sounding voices for 5% of what these stars get, these actors will be thrilled with 1 million for a couple of weeks of work...
Meanwhile's spectacular artists get 60 to 100 K a whole year for there contributions...
You can get 300 talented artists to work for 1 year full time for what a cameron Diaz gets for 2 to 3 weeks of voice work...Crazy and unfair if you ask me, but I don't blame the actors....
I don't really care about the voice actors in a game as long as they are good. Familiar voices are just a bonus.
