Persona 4: Golden (PSV) - Review | gmrReview

Persona 4 Golden is more than just a faithful port of 2008's PS2 release; it's an expanded director's cut that adds in so much more to the experience. This already splendid title has improved even further for its appearance on Sony's new handheld and is now the definitive version of Persona 4 to own. =

If you don't own a Vita but like RPGs, your reason for purchasing a Vita has arrived.

Enjoy.

Ahhh, such glowing reviews for P4G. Cannot wait to pick up my copy and play through this amazing game again.

Godchild10204176d ago

The Reviews for this game have been great so far, but a lot of these sites, I have never heard of. Not saying I don't trust the reviews. The game is amazing, so I know it's a must buy.

I'm also happy to see that Atlus is happy with this version to have the Embargo lifted a week before release. Next week is another good week for the Vita (Gaming wise).

Sony should have done a Vita/P4G bundle for the release.

Destructoid gave it full marks. Surely you've heard of them. It's got great scores from a few bigger name sites

Nutsack4176d ago

As said, Destructoid 10/10

GamesRadar 9/10

?

Seems PSVita has another great game added to its line up.

It's not the review scores I'm talking about. The score means nothing without the review itself. It's what's in the review that makes me say what I said.

Wow, lots of good reviews so far. Im not sure if I should buy this though, I tried watching the anime, could not get into it at all.

You need to have played the game in order to appreciate the anime. There are a lot of things the anime does not cover and the Vita version has additional character and scenario too.

I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.

Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.

Seraphim284d ago

send me one while you're at it. I mean what's better than Whiskey and Persona? A cigar with the two, and that would be perfection personified.

Remasters And Remakes Make Up 90 Percent Of 2023's Highest-Rated Games

Only one of the games on the top ten is completely original.

90 percent of Metacrtitic's top ten highest-rated games of 2023 so far are remasters and remakes, with Hi-Fi Rush acting as the only wholly original game to make the list so far.

We might only be in March, but it seems like we've already got tons of great games to be talking about, including Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Metroid Prime Remastered. There is one commonality between those games, however - most of them are remakes and remasters.

I don't usually buy Switch games until the holidays when they have the elusive sale.

dead_pixels403d ago

Can't blame you there. The bargains don't come too often on the eShop, that's for sure.

FinalFantasyFanatic403d ago

I feel like they're getting stingier and stingier, at this point, if the game is on something else, I'd rather buy it there where it's cheaper.

Yui_Suzumiya403d ago

Already own physical versions of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers along with digital versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on Switch. Will definitely double dip if physical versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.
