Need For Speed Most Wanted PS Vita review – connected Vita racer puts monsters in your pocket OPM

There are two ways to look at Criterion’s handheld port of Need For Speed Most Wanted: one as a technical achievement, and the other as a vehicle for long-term, portable enjoyment. On a technical level, it’s quite striking just how little’s been stripped down on Vita – Fairhaven City in its entirety is present and correct, down to the last Jackspot (not a euphemism), billboard and supercar. All its freedom and scope, its functionality in real-time four player and asynchronous multiplayer finds its way onto handheld with no gimmicky touch controls or tilting.

Enjoying it very much. Graphics are really good and gameplay is great. The only issue I could complain is low fps while driving at high speeds in races. Apart from that it's great arcade racing game, I would give it around 8.5.

Oh issue I have had is starting a race and it staying in free roam without bing able to use the menu system to restart it so had to restart game. And driving at fast speeds and randomly hitting an invisible barrier in middle of road and stopping dead. The computer also hits this invisible barrier so u stay in first lol. Another one is crashing but it not loading the crash camera causing my rims to be stuck in the ground and unable to drive away for like 20 seconds. Annoying during cop chase. Little problems and not very common

Wait, you can restart races, I think you can't restart only in your first race.

After u do a race once u can retry or jump to it anytime. Just use menu after or during race and go to bottom and choose retry race. Or just use menu and choose race and instead of choosing a route choose to jump to it

This game was awesome! I remember reloading my save if I didn’t get the pink slip from my blacklist rival

Looking Back to Two of Need for Speed's Best Games - Most Wanted and Hot Pursuit

Paul writes - "EA know a good thing when they see it, and for multiple years November was Need for Speed month. In a break from the usual routine, I'm going to be looking back at two games here, released in 2005 and 2010 respectively. The earlier game is Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which has the distinction of being one of the very best in the franchise. The second game comes from 2010, and is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit; which I'll talk about just as the Remastered version of the game has hit the stores."

I completely adore this game! In fact its probably my favorite racing game. I recently dusted off my xbox 360 to play Most Wanted 2005. Still a great game, though I do not remember there being such horrible performance. Like massive frame-pacing issues. screen tearing, latency. If any game ever truly needed to be remastered, it this one for sure!
