edit: disc only though. =/

ShopTo.net for the UK is awesome.

Literally every pre-order i have made there for the past 2 or 3 years has arrived a day, sometimes 2 days, early before release.

Not to mention they are generally £4 or £5 cheaper on every title (That's alot since it's £40 for games in the UK for the Americans out there =P), plus their reward scheme is actually worth a damn.

Gazondaily4179d ago

Cheers for that mate- will remember that for the future!

actually PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is cheaper on Amazon.co.uk and with free delivery...

InitiatedSpoon4179d ago

@b_one Whilst Amazon may be a little cheaper and have free super saver delivery it takes 3-5 days to arrive so if the game comes out on a Friday the game doesn't arrive until Monday in most cases unless you pay the extra for the faster delivery which then negates the money saved by using Amazon. However shopto has free first class delivery as standard and on pre-orders the game comes a day early as they ship 2 days before to make sure it is on time. Also shopto send you an email with a photo of your parcel attached. They genuinely make you feel as though your one order really matters to them.
Furthermore they also have a rewards scheme which gives you money back to spend on other products on their website. Each full priced retail game (£38) on their site gets you about £1.50-£2.00 back.

The first time and only time I pre-ordered a game from ShopTo.net, it came 2 days late. 2 days after the official release. That was for SSX.

Also, they're selling Black Ops for £44.86. Not exactly £4 or £5 cheaper than any other title.

jetpacksheep4178d ago

Yeah ShopTo is awesome, Halo 4 came a day early and they dispatch items in literally 5 minutes.

caseh4178d ago

If you're based in the UK I highly recommend find-game.co.uk

It acts in same fashion as moneysupermarket or gocompare but for games. Saved myself a lot of cash through this site.

Used to rely upon Shopto.net but they bodged my pre-order of Mass Effect 3. Sent me 360 version instead of PS3, sent it back and requested the PS3 version and they refunded me instead. Waited over a week for that debacle to be cleared up which really p*ssed me off, not used em since.

Glyde.com has awesome deals, you have to live in America though.

MooseWI4179d ago

I usually never buy games at full price anymore. Borderlands 2, Blops 2, Halo 4, all got discounted and more games at that.

BLAKHOODe4178d ago

Our Kmart is going out of business and has games 20% off right now.. I picked up Halo 4 lastnight for $45.

Half.com looks promising as hell, as i'm currently on the hunt for a very rare capcom game "The misadventures of Tron Bonne", so i type the name in, and wouldn't you know it, it's priced at $250! Darn! lol, well, the hunt goes on!

Fatty4179d ago

I got mine last year off of Amazon, complete, for 80 bucks (used). Motivated seller, I guess, because the next time I looked at the price for the game was 120+

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Fallout 3's Reveal Led To Death Threats And Bethesda's First Security Guard

The artist behind Fallout 4’s Deathclaw reveals just how bad things got back when Bethesda took over the series

anast51m ago

People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,

But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.

LucasRuinedChildhood12m ago

As much as Bethesda deserve criticism, that's not really relevant to the reveal of Fallout 3 in 2007.
