Kotaku - Someone somewhere has decided the best way to show off Dead Space 3, an EA game only four months from release, is to keep only showing the tiniest bits of the thing.
The latest third-person horror/shooter adventures of space miner Isaac Clarke could be wonderful. They could be terrible. It's impossible to tell.
If EA and Motive Studio plan on remaking all the main Dead Space entries, they have to change a lot of what made Dead Space 3 so divisive.
Simple, do not bother with a Dead Space 3 remake. Rather have a new entry for Dead Space.
Remaking 3 would need to be a reworked and somewhat changed remake as 3 was flawed in most peoples eyes and the worst entry.
WTMG's Kyle Nicol:
"Was Dead Space 3 really that bad?
Well, it’s a complicated question. Dead Space 3 is undeniably the weakest of the trilogy. It’s a game that deviates so far from the original formula, that it throws a lot of what made Dead Space special in the first place out of the window. Although, where it does make up for it is one of the best cooperative shooters on the market, even after all this time. Do I recommend playing this game ten years later? Hell yes. But make sure your expectations are in the right place. It has a lot of problems that bring it down."
With the upcoming Dead Space Remake, we replay and rank the original three games.

...Lost Planet 3?
They need to seriously continue this ip with a new entry. Even if it's just another movie I don't care I love everything about this game.
I've seen enough
I'll tell you the truth, I feel that less is better. Dead Space 2 got WAY too much exposure going into the release and I thought I had seen too much going into it as opposed to the original Dead Space which I went into pretty much cold. I'm hoping they keep most of their surprises under wraps with DS3 but not as much as I hope they manage to retain at least some of the scares that made the original Dead Space so damn great.
It is just Resident Evil 5 all over again.
Geez, guys. Are you forgetting? This game is quadruple A. That more As than ever before. Why do you need to see anything? The 4 As alone should tell you that it's beyond amazing.
I don't think any Dead Space game will be as good as DS1.
DS2 wasn't great and i doubt this will be either.
