Oh sweet, nice to hear we'll be getting more AC on Vita. Hopefully the second installment will be a bit more fleshed out since they've had time to work with the system now.

GribbleGrunger4177d ago

Yes, I had a feeling that they'd be happy with the sales. 100,000 on a system with a 3 million install base is WELL above average sales and those figures did not include the downloadable version. I bet they got at least another 25 - 35,000 sales on top of the retail version... and the sales only reflected the first week.

I downloaded a few days ago after getting the $20 PSN promotional credit. I like the game a lot, but there are some weird glitches. The markers on the mini map bounce all over the place at times... especially when you're fighting or running. Oh, and this little glitch I got on video.

im very happy to hear this news. hopefully more developers along with ubisoft will continue to support the ps vita with high quality games. im very happy with the ps vita and i cant wait to see more gameplay about killzone mercenaries and other big titles.

assassins creed liberation has a few glitches like a lot of other games and shouldn't be discredited as a good one due to a few faults. assassins creed 3 is quite glitchy on consoles but i hope they can be all fixed with patches.

Great to hear. Hopefully more developers jump on the vita. I you make a good game people will throw there money at you. I certainly do:D

Hope they bring out a LE edition for the next AC on vita, I'd buy it for sure.

@guitarded77

Why give us a video thats private?

Sharingan_no_Kakashi4176d ago (Edited 4176d ago )

I'd actually be willing to bet the download sales exceeded the retail sales.

Yea,if they just had a good frame rate and a little bit better engine...i mean, the engine looks amazing in open worlds but where your in small eviorments and buildings is not really that nice looking.Im still waiting for the destroy all humans Hd collection for it...yes its confirmed.

Jinkies4177d ago (Edited 4177d ago )

Hopefully not

I just thought Aveline was bland, there was no character to her. I really want them to feature another Assassin if they are going to do a new one, maybe that Russian one from the comics.

It bugs me, same goes for Connor, why can't they get good voice actors for the roles. They always seem a little robotic or emotionless.

I hope they do a female Assassin for AC4 though, maybe that London setting during the WW1/WW2 would be good fit while all the men are out to war. Least then we can get more of a backstory on Eve and her descendants.

Snookies124177d ago

Who knows, maybe they'll greatly expand upon her character in the next AC game for Vita. I haven't played it yet, so I can't say one way or the other on how good/bad she was. Still, always nice to give a second chance. If she's still bland in the next one, then I'd say drop her lol.

GribbleGrunger4176d ago (Edited 4176d ago )

I'm going to hold off speculating until we know for certain the next game with Aveline IS actually on the Vita. They say they want to explore her character further but make no mention that it will definitely be on the Vita... Fingers crossed, it will, but I'm going to wait and see.

Nimblest-Assassin4176d ago (Edited 4176d ago )

Same here... if they plan to continue with her... they need to make her interesting

However Connor is understandable since they wanted to be authentic, and repestful to the Kanehkahaha people

Also... I really liked Connor. I though he was a good character... however there choice of voice actor was out of respect

Avelines VA, there is no excuse. She is using a fake accent and its so obvious it makes me cringe when I hear dialouge.

Also let me choose the persona, rather than your stuck playing as this one.

Also... take a decent attempt to make multiplayer.. I mean... WTF is the mp in ACL?

A vita tailored experience? More like a f**king facebook game

Take the AC mp, and scale it down for vita

AND GET RID OF THE STUPID VITA MINIGAMES!

Just let me assassinate in peace, without being forced to use the gyroscope, look for a light source, or some gimicky letter opening mechanic

Also... Nikoli is out of the question, since

1) He is the grandfather of Daniel Cross
2) He dies in the comics

Although I also believe that AC4 will star a female assassin

Soldierone4176d ago

If they replace the voice actor behind her and dive more into her history, I'd be interested.

Only thing I really don't like is the voice actor behind her. Sounds like she is reading script for the first time and randomly trying to act it out.....

Blazee4177d ago

I really want to see the series continuation on Vita. Hopefully they can do something big.

LusoGamer4177d ago

Agreed. Ubi won't let us down.

extermin8or4177d ago

Hmm this is good news, rather a different assassin though with a slightly better character/storyline going on but the game was good so :)

izumo_lee4177d ago

It is good to hear. When developers get a handle of what the Vita can do they can make games more suited to the hardware. Knowing the strengths & limitations of the system Ubisoft & other developers can use the knowledge they now have to improve the games they make for the Vita.

Ubisoft's Recent Antics Have Me Fearful For The Sands of Time Remake

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
