"Portable entries of big franchises are usually created one of two ways: They are an attempt to emulate the gameplay of the main games as best as possible, or they are something different entirely. The latter usually focuses on experimentation while trying to stay as connected as possible to the original games. The former, on the other hand, rarely succeeds, mostly due to the hardware limitations of the handheld in question. Ubisoft has tried both approaches with Assassin’s Creed, but thanks to the Vita’s impressive technical specs, the former finally seems entirely plausible for the franchise. Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation is that game, blending together well-known elements of the series with some Vita-specific gimmicks that rarely succeed."
Assassin's Creed III Remastered recently launched, updating the visuals and adding gameplay systems to the 2012 title. For those interested in the game's development, Ubisoft has published a detailed article explaining the development of both Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed III Liberation. Highlighting the challenges of building models for Connor's adventure and the creation of Aveline.
PS Vita Fans love themselves some Open World and Free Roaming titles and believe it or not the PS Vita has a great plethora of Free Roam titles. In this video The VitaBoys count down the 5 Best Open World and Free Roam PS Vita games available.
There have been a lot of Assassins in Assassin's Creed. It's time to ask: of all the ones in the games, who's the best of them all?
Ezio! Plus leonardo davinci made all his fancy killing gear. Nuff said.
EDIT: And Ezio was the best dressed too. They nailed that italian flair with his outfit. Most stylish assisn too, then!
Ezio
Hands down and he has the coolest full name
Ezio Auditore da Firenze
This is getting ridiculous. AC3L is getting practically the same rank on metacritic as "Assassin's Creed II: Discovery", a sidescroller platform game for DS.
Another illustration for flawed logic of reviewers.
when nitendo people make review.. they always say ridiculous thing about sony game... yeahhh i understand.... they do not feel the game, then they will not know, of where improvements have been made..
Its a solid game. Everyone just hates on vita for no reason. if it was on console it wouldn't be very good because it lacks the console polish. but for ANY HANDHELD its amazing. a technical marvel that they fit that large of an open world. everything plays right and theirs tons of content. It takes a long time to get all the trophies. Reviewers nowadays are just bloggers. these are people who prolly dont even own the vita and are given one to do the review.
So they go from their Xbox/Ps3/WiiU and compare the differences. its ridiculous. i dont trust reviews anymore. especially after Resistance: Burning Skies. it has a horrible metacritic score and reviewers destroyed its reputation. Its a good game for a handheld plain and simple. controls are pretty bang on. people say theirs some Lag but i never encountered one bit of it. Theirs memory issues (dead chimera disappear after like 3 seconds) Sony prolly rushed Nihilistic to get it out the door. Hopefully it doesn't happen with Declassified. seems to be coming along relle good.
PS: 3DS/Wii is WEAK! Sorry i don't play Pokemon and haven't since like 4th grade people. Only people i see playing those systems are 10 year olds.
