From the start and I am hyped for 5, you no I have a feeling if they wouldn't have changed the formula slightly for 4 the same people would have moaned it was to familia. With some people you just can't win

Biggest map ever in GTA, ever
Three main characters (playable)
Being developed by R*
Those reasons alone is good enough for me on getting it asap!
But for those who has been fans since 1 & 2 for the Plastation. I can't really say anything for them because I first played GTA I played was Vice City which even today is still an awesome game!

I've been playing GTA since the first game on PC. I've had every single one since then, and I can say I'm REALLY looking forward to this one. I'm pre-ordering this no doubt! I was a little disappointed with GTAIV to be honest. It was a technical marvel, and an amazing game to behold, but to me it just didn't have enough wacky stuff that had been the hallmark of the series since its beginnings.

I hope they move a bit more toward the wackiness it had in series' past, but even so... Just from what I've heard and seen of this game, there is no way I can pass it up at 60 bucks. That's a steal for how huge this game seems to be. It's not often I pre-order a game, and even rarer that I consider 60 dollars cheap for the value I'm getting...

Great response! GTA4 did lack the wackiness compared to the other games. My favorite among all GTA games is San Andreas, It had a good balance of wacky I think. i wasn't disappointed from what GTA4 had to offer but I did wish it could have some features that previous titles had.

What would be interesting information is how are they going to do multiplayer this time around. GTA4 is the first online multiplayer that I had played. so I'm excited to hear from that aspect right now.

the reason why not many people liked IV was because it was too serious. GTA is known for dark satire wacky humor. if they bring the franchise back to the way III, VC, & SA was then i can see the game being critically acclaimed by everyone. but if not then we'll just see a repeat of what happened with IV. another thing that was stupid on R* part was separating the worlds. people want to see GTA III-SA era characters return. why would they make two separate universes for?

I think any gamer will be satisfied with GTAV.

I'm definitely looking forward to GTAV. I played GTA, GTA2, III, VC and SA on the Playstation but skipped IV as I didn't have a PS3. Don't think I'll be skipping out on this one.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
