Anonymous, whose supporters have adopted a Guy Fawkes mask as their public face, made the threats, addressed to Zynga and Facebook users, last week. Elements of loosely-affiliated group made similar threats last year against Facebook, which came to nothing.
The acquisition of Zynga by Take-Two Interactive might become the video game industry's version of the AOL Time Warner merger.
I have to give props for the use of Electric Boogaloo reference. I don't think many young folk will even know what that is.
On topic... wasn't that where Don Mattrick went after leaving XB?
Mobile publisher and developer Zynga, with the hiring of Matt Wolf as VP, seeks to reaffirm its intentions to enter blockchain gaming.
After a year in soft-launch, Zynga's nostalgia-evoking title FarmVille 3 is geared for a global release with the launch of a sneak peek video
I don't normally approve a piece and comment on it. This however was just so poorly put together that I had to.
From dismissing the actions of Anonymous (I'll leave the specifics for those that actually read the piece) to the sale of virtual deities, this piece shows just how out of touch the "average Joe six-toe" journalist can be.
It's great!
Anonymous a bunch of wannabe internet gangsters. It's funny they target anything and say they are protecting the masses but then snitch each other out once busted.
My message to anonymous. You are a bunch of basement dwelling snitches who have done nothing but disrupt a website but aren't capable of doing anything else. Accessing info means nothing if you can't use it. Which means you are bored punks.
not that'm a huge fan of zynga or anything, but what did they do to upset those basement-dwelling clods?
Why do they have the Hungarian flag in the background of their shield behind the suit???
Put a mask on and call yourself anonymous... This group shot themselves in the foot when they refused to show their faces. They say that they are anonymous because they are 'one' and refuse to take a name. The problem with that is that anyone can do something in their name and everyone would assume it was the same group.
Just like the Zeitgeist movement, the anonymous movement has grown stronger over the years as more people open their eyes. I can't immediately condemn anonymous because I can't know (and neither can anyone else) that this is indeed the legitimate group and not just another attempts to demonize them.
