P4G: Review Log 02: Hands Off The Soba, Pal!

GR: "I'll try to keep the story details light. Yes, I know Persona 4 is over four years old at this point, but some of you will be joining me in Inaba for the first time on November 20th. Luckily, there's plenty of new features and events to talk about in light of where I'm at (May 3rd, if you're curious)."

Looks like the Vita may have a real winner on its hands.

I was happy to have gotten in a pre-order of the solid gold edition. Wanted to support this series to the fullest for how amazing it is.

Me too! So excited to pick it up. I don't know if I'll even open it at first. Might get a second copy to play.

Hell yeah totally with you on that one!

Hopefully persona helps sell a Vita or two. Vita's really hurting right now :-(

Seeing as how its the Vita's number one selling game in Japan as of now, i'd say it'll sell a few. Plus i bought mine just for this :3

So true. I love the device but where's all the software?

Eazy-Eman4187d ago

Had this sucker preordered since they first announced it back in June I think? Anyway at that time I had beaten persona 3 (my first ever) and it was the most engrossing jrpg I have ever played...I don't even know why I got into the game but I do not regret it one bit. My first playthrough clocked in at 101 hours! I recommend the persona series to any jrpg fan, do yourself a favor and play 3 and then 4 if you're getting tired of final fantasy or any other jrpg.

I'll have to make this a mission the next time I blow through Tokyo.

Hopefully soon, given the limited availability.

Seraphim284d ago

send me one while you're at it. I mean what's better than Whiskey and Persona? A cigar with the two, and that would be perfection personified.

Remasters And Remakes Make Up 90 Percent Of 2023's Highest-Rated Games

Only one of the games on the top ten is completely original.

90 percent of Metacrtitic's top ten highest-rated games of 2023 so far are remasters and remakes, with Hi-Fi Rush acting as the only wholly original game to make the list so far.

We might only be in March, but it seems like we've already got tons of great games to be talking about, including Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Persona 4 Golden, and Metroid Prime Remastered. There is one commonality between those games, however - most of them are remakes and remasters.

I don't usually buy Switch games until the holidays when they have the elusive sale.

dead_pixels403d ago

Can't blame you there. The bargains don't come too often on the eShop, that's for sure.

FinalFantasyFanatic402d ago

I feel like they're getting stingier and stingier, at this point, if the game is on something else, I'd rather buy it there where it's cheaper.

Already own physical versions of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers along with digital versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden on Switch. Will definitely double dip if physical versions of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.
