Sony Advertising PlayStation All-Stars Ahead of Wreck-It Ralph

I really hate to say this, but Sony is doing it again. We've got LBP karting coming out on Tuesday, and I have yet to see a commercial for it. As big as LBP is there should have been some advertising for this game. Which makes me wonder if PSABR will share the same problem. Advertising in movie theaters is cool and will increase some awareness, but what about people who choose to pass on Wreck-it-Ralph? I'm not downing Sony in any way, but under advertising has plagued Sony this Generation, and I was hoping they'd get it together. I am aware and already have my copy reserved and paid for.

Lets hope they do not use the live commercial with Drake, Kratos and Cole...I am sorry but the fight between Drake and Cole is very cheesy and boring, just show 30 secs of the actual game Sony -_-

Edit: Look at the Wii Brawl a commercial , keep it simple and fun.

I agree, gamers are definitely movie enthusiast as well in most cases, advertising at the theater only makes sense. Plus you can run ads that are longer than 30 seconds there to really get your point across.

More ads are good for the VITA but Sony needs a better marketing team...the attached Assassin Creed VITA commercial is boring and corny.

This movie is for little kids. Let me know when the commercial is out during The Simpsons, Family Guy or South Park. And if it is, then that's how you do it. Those are where you reach the audience that's going to buy the game.

The majority of console system buyers are Parents for their children...or should I say the casual gamer...the ones who go to movies like these.
Core/Hardcore gamers no longer make up the bulk of the sales demographics for consoles.
Sony is wise to push it during this movie.

Really? Animated movies are only made for kids? So, even movies like "Howl's Moving Castle" or "Spirited Away" are meant for kids only? Well, I'm 24, and I just went to see Wreck It Ralph yesterday. There are so many gaming references within the movie that young children wont understand, but people like me will, since we've been playing games for years. Don't assume every animated movie is just for kids, because there are many underline themes that kids will not understand.

The amount of references will be too much for these '5 year olds and their moms' to comprehend. Either way, it's just a video game. One that could appeal to the casual and the core gamer. Advertising before this movie is a great idea. It's a video game movie. Saying it's only for kids just because it's animated is pretty ignorant.

well im going for cross buy, for the vita and console, just to see Psasbr ad on the big screen is definatley worth it to go watch this movie which is actually about games. basically its like toy story but for games. and if youv'e seen toy story you know its going to be good. toy story is a childs movie but in each one they show some really good themes. about a toys mortality and mentality.
