Assassins Creed: Liberation Is What Vita Is All About, Blown Away

PushStartSelect: "After playing Resistance on my Vita I was scared for the Vita. I was scared it would get stuck with crap and this was the best it was going to get. However Ubisoft has raised the bar by a mile with Assassins Creed, and now I remember why I purchased a Vita. Anyone bashing the game can’t possibly understand what they are playing, in their hand!"

Amazing news, lets hope that they make a new one again? I would love a GRAND THEFT AUTO game exclusively made for the Vita. I wouldn't even mind Grand theft auto: San Andreas on the Vita.

I_LOVE_MYSELF4194d ago

The GTA games for the PSP were brilliant. I hope they bring out GTA for the Vita some day.

Cam9774194d ago

Yeah, imagine one running on the RAGE engine.

Ethereal4193d ago

In due time. The vita is slowly gaining speed. Wait for the big Sony franchises to release and big third party like GTA, Final Fantasy, Bioshock and so on. I have faith it will succeed.

Bottomline is, it's good. Its a bit unfair to compare it to ac for console but as a mobile game, it's good. Too bad they did a terrible job at optimising the game for the ps vita. I hope this wont discourage Ubisoft to develop another game like this.

himdeel4193d ago

I'm hoping for the appropriate patches to address these issues. I'm really enjoying the game a lot!

rpd1234193d ago

They already released one patch. I hope that if they ever get around to a sequel then they ditch the persona system or make it more flexible.

Ah using a booth to change forms, good to know. Cannot wait to buy and play this game! :)

DivineAssault 4193d ago

The first couple hours, i admit i was disappointed in it.. After i got further in, my whole outlook on it changed dramatically.. Its effin awesome now.. Not perfect cuz the usual AC bugs are present but its still amazing & ITS IN YOUR HANDS! I cant believe that there was so many NPCs roaming the streets as well as such a large open world.. Other handhelds that try to make open landscapes have an empty & lifeless world to explore with minimal detail.. This is on console level

Kingthrash3604193d ago

Now this isn't even a review but he's 100% right. The game is ground breaking and its a handheld game. Up there with the greatest handheld games ever created. No lie the only reason some reviewers (especially ign) are so off on vita is the fact the compare it to consoles. I'd like them to compare the 3ds to the wii or the Zune to Xbox heck the don't even compare iPod to the iPad . If u own a vita this game is a must buy this artical is 100% right even on the flaws it mentioned

Loved his English accent. But as an assassin, he was an out n out pirate.

FlexLuger3108d ago (Edited 3108d ago )

Ezio! Plus leonardo davinci made all his fancy killing gear. Nuff said.

EDIT: And Ezio was the best dressed too. They nailed that italian flair with his outfit. Most stylish assisn too, then!

GigawattConduit3108d ago

Man, I would love a film of Ezio and da Vinci together, just on adventures. They're the perfect duo.

guitarded773108d ago

Ezio is the bestest assassinz. The other characters don't even compare. Conner was the worst.

PerfidiousSinn3108d ago

Ezio has a half-cape. He wins by default.

GigawattConduit3108d ago

The secret to the awesomeness of the Assassins has finally been revealed!

Relientk773108d ago (Edited 3108d ago )

Ezio

Hands down and he has the coolest full name

Ezio Auditore da Firenze

GigawattConduit3108d ago

Pretty sure that's Italian for "I'M THE BEST AND I CONQUER ALL OF YOU"

Heyxyz3108d ago

Best: Ezio!

Worst: The one from Unity (he was so bad I forgot his name).

GigawattConduit3108d ago

Hey, he wasn't that bland! His name was Brad, jeez.

Castlevania3108d ago

Arno. He was kinda bland (or so people say).

Mystogan3108d ago

Nah the worst was Ratuhnkahetun AKA Connor.

Dark_Overlord3107d ago

Totally agree, I hate AC3 due to him. How could they create such an unlikable character :/ I preferred Haytham to him.
