Hurricanes definitely didn't happen before people started messing with the environment. Good evidence work, detective! It's a good thing we have rational people like you to blame global warming every time a natural disaster strikes!

If you kept up, you'd know that the discussion was the extent of human involvement in climate change, not whether or not climate ever changes. Seeing as the climate has been changing for earth's entire existence.

For example, the medieval times were estimated to have been generally warmer than today. But I'm sure you'll blame conservatism for that somehow, too.

Why are you shocked that the NE is seeing flooding? They didn't build well for flooding/hurricanes. This is like New Orleans all over again....you have a levee built for force 3 that breaks under a force 5....and then everyone plays the blame game.
